Charging me a Return check Fee
I spoke to at least two Employees on Nov.19, 2010 and explained to them that I had sent my first car payment to them, It was due on the 18th of that month, but I have online banking with my bank and I had it set it up to be electronically taken on the 16th, but I called to ask if they received their payment and they told me no, so come to find out it was sent to their other location in Phillidelphia, but that's not where they accepted their payments, but I didn't know that because on my greenslip that was their address, so I spoke to an employee and I called my bank to tell my bank to put a stop payment on my check, and they did and my bank didn't charge me for that because it was a mistake so I called before I did that to ask Santander if they will track that check that's out there and apply it to my account the lady told me no that they would have to send it back to my bank, so I told her I will be putting a stop payment on that check so if you receive it do not cash because I'm sending my payment through Moneygram and I did, so they received my payment on the 19th, but this month I look on my account and they tried to cash that check and charged me a 25 dollar fee, now it's not about the money it's the principal of it, so I called to dispute it and was hung up on first, then called back had to explain all over again, then was told there's nothing they could do even though I called, Employee was very rude cutting me off not letting me speak, so I said I want to speak to someone above you, then another lady got on and said they will have to send my information somewhere else I didn't really understand what she was saying, but told me there was no guarantee, so I said what do you mean, so if there isn't what happens?, she goes and tells me in a aggitated voice "think Positive", these people are not proffesional, they don't go out of their way to help you and I only been with them a couple of months and I'm about to send my second payment, so I'm just waiting to see what happens.
