Harrasment
Citi Bank was financing me when I got my truck back in 2007. In 2010 Citi sold all its car accounts to Santander which I didn't know because no one contacts me for that. I was under an unemployment plan with Citi, so instead paying $550 a month I was paying $350 a month. I lost my job in 2009 and I have not been able to find full time job again. After I made two payments with Santander they told me that my payment will be $550 again because the unemployment term expired. I tried millions of way to keep this deal, it was not possible. They say that I must seek for trading or any type of way if I cannot afford my payments. So, I have been getting money from relatives so I can make payments. I had 10 days grace period with Citi, with Santander if you are a day late, they call the next day literally betweencccvxzzx 10-12 times a day. Of course I was late; I was struggling to make these payments. So when I called them today again, and try to see if I get a deal they say you better pay today because we are charging you $6 every day that you don't pay. Plus, if I try to pay online, to make an easy a quick payment, they charge me $11 just to MAKE A PAYMENT. In other words I have to pay some money to pay them. I need help I do not want to lose my truck I am struggling, I just want to reduce my payment for 6 months at least, and being able to make a payment online with no charge. This bank is a scam. I feel chased, robbed and frustrated. I would love to sue this people for harassment and for making desperate unemployed people like me almost to steal Money for them to get pay. Any help?? I can�t afford my next payment.

loan
we had our initial loan for our new (at the time) car in 2002. It was with GMAC. When i lost my job in 2005 (an i am now on Disability) i refinanced through Triad, which cut our payments, making it a bit easier to make the payment. since all this happened, we fell behind in some bills. Triad was working with us. Without our knowing, Santander apparently bought out Triad. We didn't know unti Debember 09. In Feb of 2010, our car was repossessed. I called, and admitted we had been behind a couple of payments, but that Triad was working with us. Triad said our remaining loan amount was a little over 3, 000 dollars. Santander said that they weren't working with us. After paying almost 2K to get our car back, we were up to date. I have kept immaculate records almost weekly documenting the buy off amounts. It goes UP every single week. There's no reason for it to do that if we are up to date on payments. In fact i pay early, AND over the amount.

For instance, yesterday our buyout was 2795.59 and today it is 2810.78. Some months it jumps up 400 dollars and sometimes it just goes up 10. No Rhyme or reason. Santander never has a reasonn for it, and wont give me a copy of our loan agreement, or our payment history. We were going to pay the car off with Taxes, but now we can't. Can a 14, 000 car loan REALLY take 9 years to pay off? I really want to pay them with 2810 $ in pennies. I have filed a complaint with the BBB in Dallas. With all of these complaints, why isn't anyone doing anything about them? :) thank you.

Poor customer service
I have a car loan which originated in November, 2007 with CitiFinancial Auto and was recently taken over by Santander. Since purchasing the vehicle my wife and I have suffered more than a 25% loss of annual income. CitiFinancial worked with us by deferring payments and a six month reduced payment plan. We have been back on the original payment plan for three months and were told we would qualify for another payment deferrment. Santander will not listen or make an effort to work with us, just harassing phone calls. We have consistently paid before being 30 days late even with our financial hardship.

Worst Customer Service and Record Keeping
I have an auto loan that was initially given to me from Drive Financial. Since being bought by Santander USA, I have had the worst stress levels in my life. They calls saying that if pay them a small amount (150.00) that would make my account current because they would move two payments to the back of my loan. I stress myself out and scramble up the money and pay the amount. Not 24 hours later, they are calling again saying that I need to make another payment, a full one, or my vehicle will go into repossession. It has been repossessed once before and I'm being threatened again. I make payments, with it doing nothing to the balance. I can't afford to be sick about this because then i can't work. What am I to do?

I would like to file a formal complaint against two of your members working in repossesions. I called on Saturday Aug 28, 2010 for assistance with my vehicle payment. The first so called gentleman was very very rude he spoke down to me questioning me as to why was I not having my daughter who is eighteen pay the car note instead of myself since i cannot seem to pay it, then he began to tell me that he worked and went to college so why shouldn't my daughter do the same. i began to inform this less than human employeee of yours that i felt it was none of his bussiness as far as my daughter was concerned. He then began to smart talk me informing me that it was was i who called him and not he who called me. He was very degrading rude and very unprofessional with me especiallt during this time of my illness which I have been recovering from major surgery. i asked for a supervisor he informed me that there was no supervisor there and i could just hang up and get another person. I did that then a chiquita less than human person spoke to tm harshly as well and though I pleaded with these two individuals to give me just until Wednsday to pay the deliquent amount these two less than human beings continued to talk over me and speak rudely to me. At the end of the coversation this chiquita person slams the phone down before i could ask anymore question about the payment arrangement procecdure. This vehicle is used for my daughter for college it will be paid off in January and I find it very degrading and offensive to have been treated this way by your employees i have made a formal complaint to the better businees bureau also I am seeking a finacial aid attorney because this was very very unnecessary. I feel that these two employees does your company a great disservice and i know for a fact that i will never have anything promising to say about your comapny .

The company listed above charges a late without justification. I pay by internet on the 1st of each month. my bill is due on the 19th of each month. Please post this Email address so that others may contact me. rbeard@mail, com. Maybe a CLASS ACTION will get tier attention.
