i too am discussed with citifinancial auto who sold my vehicle loan to santander without notice. in august of 2010 citifinancial auto called me to let me know i was getting behind on my payments and if i made a payment over the phone they would work with me on skipping some payments for a few months. they told me to call back the following week to get an update on my modification. well, citifinancial took my money and run. now it was santander that i owed. i have been paying $399.72 to citifinancial auto for the past 6 years. my vehicle was reposessed 2-2011 by santander. they are going to auction it off now and said i would have to pay the difference. i am on a fixed income and unable to work. santander says that i owe more on the vehicle now than what i paid for it. they sent me a letter saying they were going to ation it but left the date and time blank on the letter. i read my origional contract from the purchase of my vehicle and nowhere does it say they can sell my loan. i know they can on homes because countrywide did it to me and i am still fighting to keep my home. something has to be done about all these money hungry people getting rich off the everyday hard working citizens of this country. i am also a member of a native american indian tribe and i feel that i as well as my ancestories have had enough taken away from us. we all need to stick together and fight these people and file complaint after complaint. i know my God is greater than these people and vengence belongs to Him. so they may have my vehicle as well as a lot of others but i'm putting my situation in my heavenly Fathers hands. i will also pray for these people and ask God to bless them. after all He holds the universe in His hands and the just will recieve their reward. thank you . karen stone
