In September 2005 I bought a Saturn VUE, four wheel drive. At time of purchase it had 700 miles. so a new car.
On December 5, 2005 the transmission went out. We were on the road at that time and had to stay over at a Hotel because it was a Sunday and no dealer was open. They checked it the next day and the problem was: the belt inside had broken. It was under warranty and they fixed it.
On December 4, 2006 the transmission went out again, they checked it, and the same problem: the belt had broken. It was still under warranty and they fixed it.
On March 25, 2008, the transmission went out for the third time and of course, the same problem, THE BELT BROKE AGAIN. I contacted Saturn Company to try to get some help. I was told that because it was outside the warranty period, all they are willing to offer me, was a $2000.00 discount on the $ 7000.00 repair, which I can and will not accept.
I think there is something really wrong with that specific part of my vehicle that makes it break down every year.
I just want to have my car fixed.
