Unauthorized Payments
I was balancing my bank statement and to no avail I found a charge to my visa debit/credit card in the aount of $24.95 from a company named SaveAce. I did not know who this company was nor did I know what their services were (if they even have any). So, at this point, I began going back to the months before December. I found another payment of $24.95 on the 15th of November, 2009 for the same company. I called this company and asked the rep. who they were and what type of company were they? She told me that they were a online shopping discount service! Oh please! Now think of this, why would I, first of all, who is online shopping, to save time and gasoline but I'd pay a company to give me a discount for shopping online at a monthly charge? This is redundant and makes no sense to me whatsoever. I cannot get it in my mind as to why I would pay for something so stupid, especially when I don't even shop online every month and also when I do shop online it's because of the gasoline prices and I haven't the time to shop! This doens't sound like a company that has enough integrity nor honesty to be even acknowledged! I am so upset and I don't know if there is anything I can do about this or not! I also would like to know how did this company get my information? I have two (2) different types of security suites to keep my information private! Please beware of this company, they are very dishonest and they lie!!!Which, I know dishonesty and lie are the same thing! I am just made as H-ll!

TAKING MONEY FROM MY ACCT#
MY NAME IS CATHERINE MCMULLEN SAVEACE KEEPS TAKING 19.95 OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCT.AND THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED. THEY KEEP TELLING ME THEY HAVE CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPITON THAT I NEVER HAD IN THE FIRST PLACE. SOMEBODY NEED TO HELP.

credit card charging
I have experienced unexpected charges on my CHASE statrment for two months now. Alarmed by all of your camplaints, I called the phone number included on the statement. When the taped answerer asked for my ID I typed in that number, also listed on the statement. I WAS CONNECTED TO A WOMEN WHO TOLD ME MY CORRECT NAME AND ADDRESS. SHE ASKED IF I WISHED TO CANCEL THAT ACCOUNT. I said yes and she said it was done. I will have to wait to next month to see if it all went well but I believe it will. Thanks for all your help.

Unauthorized membership charges
"You can refund my money NOW, or I will talk to a LAWYER." This is all you have to say to get all of your charges reversed. I was charged $24.95 for two months (11/9 and 12/9) of "membership" after purchasing data on a skeezy public information site with a lot of pop-up windows. When I called the company, they immediately offered to refund December although I had already cancelled my so-called "membership" through the auto directory after hours. <br />

I told the rep I knew she had a tough job and was just doing her job but I didn't have time to mess around and I wanted ALL of my money refunded immediately or I would talk to my husband, a lawyer. Thirty seconds later, a supervisor confirmed my full refund. They just wait to hear the right words, because what they're doing is fraudulent. Isn't that sad?

Unauthorized Charges
Saveace has charged my cedit account for $19.95 for each of the last 3 months. These are UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES. I do not even know who Saveace is.
What is the best way to have these charges refunded?

unauthorized billing
My checking account was charged 24.95 for something. I can't even figure out what it is. My online bank statement had this info: SAVEACE 5437776 888-593-5216 CT. I tried calling the 888 number but it asked for a membership id which I don't have because I never signed up for anything. It also gave me the option to enter my phone number which they have no record of. My checking account went into the negative and I had to cancel my debit card and have it reissued to me just to make sure they don't debit my account again.
