Looting customers
Hi All,

I dont know how many all of you have faced this issue. My name is Pradeep and I am from Bangalore. Here is the summary of my statement I am receiving from 2002 - till date. I have stopped using the card in 2005 as the customer service and supervisors where not good enough to solve my problem.

Summary of my below statement shows how SBI is looting customers.... (each of the item is billed twice ).

Worst credit card exp
I applied for 'SBI Credit Card' three month back. Till date, I have not received the card. During this period, I have received 16 verification call in office and home. When, I complaint about so many verification calls, operator rudely answers 'thats the process we follow'...

This is a worst credit card exp, I have till date.

Irregular billing/no statement
This is a complaint against SBI Credit cards. I got SBI credit card in the month of Nov-2005. Since then I was getting Credit card statements on my hotmail email id until Jul-06. I remember to have got the same by mail also until Jul-06 regularly.Then I opted for Rs.15000/ loan from SBI Credit Card Company in the month of Oct-06 with a grace period of 90 days and also asked SBI CC over phone about sending the bill & statements regularly. Without receipt of any bill from SBICC, I repaid this full amount in Jan-07.
Then I got one statement by email in Mar-07 with a due amount of 1388. I asked SBI CC that I am unaware of this due as I have not got any bill or statement from the time I took CC loan from Oct-06 until Mar-07. This apart I got no response from SBICC until Jun-07. Then I started getting monthly statements on my hotmail id with a due which became around 5244 as on Sept-07. I contacted SBI CC over phone that it is unfair on their part not sending monthly statements and now I can not pay this undue amount to them. I gave my mobile as requested and asked the support person the CC office address/phone number. He simply told me to pay the due amount in any SBI ATM Card.

Can anyone help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

Harassment after Final Payment
I have a SBI CREDIT CARD. I don't receive the Monthly Statements. After repeated reminders one statement was handed over to me by their local agent which shows strange entries such as Insurance charges, Late fees, Over limit charges, cheque collection charges, inflated interests, other admn. charges etc. Surprised I contacted one Mr. Sudershan in the Company's Customer Care Dept. He accepted the wrong entries and settled the dues at Rs.870/ as full & final settlement and promised to send me a Zero Balance Statement. I paid the amount promptly. But the Statement as promised never reached me. Further, I am receiving disturbing, arrogant, unhealthy telephonic calls from their Collection dept. at Delhi to pay further amounts. What should I do. Please advise if anybody can.

Asking for fake payments
I received sbi credit card but soon after the receipt i am receiving phone calls from sbi credit regarding the outstanding payment towards me. On my query the calling official informed me that the amount is against the payment of the draft of Rs.20000.00 send by sbi credits to me, I was surprised on the query because I never received any draft of such amount, so when I told the fact to the officials every time they called me thy always informed me to register the complaint to the helpline number. Even after my complaint and the intimation from the helpline number that my complaint has been forwarded to the concerned cell I again received the bill by post for the payment of the outstanding against the draft amount which I never received. Now I am frustrated and I am unable to understand that how sbi credits can ask anyone for such fake payments.

Unnecessary billing
I am receiving constant due bills for my card as penalty on non payment of bills. But the fact is that I have regularly paid my bills on due date and I have spoken to their executive every time regarding the same but with no good result. Now it is height and impossible for me to carry over the same. I would like to give them their card back and will make sure that no body in my knowledge will ever make a card from SBI atleast.

Harassing calls from SBI credit card collection team
I am a SBI credit card holder. Two months back I requested SBI credit card collection agent for a payment settlement of the card. The detail was given to me only after 2 months of my request. One fine weekend started with a harassment call from collection agents of the card and I was harassed by their team very badly. Inspite of the harassing calls they made to me, they called my sister’s house, mother’s house, my company security, my house owner & Couple of neighbors at my village and my friends. Inspite of threatening me, the collection agents threaten my relatives too. It continued for 2 – 3 days from Morning to evening. They used almost all the abusing words in Malayalam & English to my parents, relatives and even my company security. Now I am in a dreadful situation, that I lost my entire good image in the company & in my family circle.

The numbers from where I got the calls is mentioned below. So this unfortunate thing should not happen to any one else again. Please, be careful about the situations like this. The numbers from which I got threatened is.

Incorrect information provided by customer support!
I had my Credit card disabled, since I failed to make payments on time. I called the Customer Support twice, to check what the procedure is, to activate the card. It was told to me that I have to clear the complete amount and once the payment is received the card will be activated. I made the payment and on receiving, when I called up to get the card activated, they inform me that they cannot activate my card. Instead, they will send me a new card with a new credit card number and that it will take 9 days again, to make this happen.

I had given my credit card number to pay for my Visa processing. Due to this issue, my payment is going to be rejected and the process is going to be delayed... for God knows how long.

The Customer Support not just gave me incorrect information, but was completely unwilling to accept any responsibility. The Supervisor did sound curt and rude instead of trying to help me out.

Harassing calls from SBI collections agencies
I hold a credit card from SBI for past 1 year and every month i had a problem from this collections agencies they used to call me for payment at least 5-10 time in a day for payment and i want to know that, will any lawyer call for collection on 22-09-2007. I got a call from lawyer RAMKUMAR from PARIES Collection department CHENNAI and he did not spoke to me he directly called to my home and he spoked to my mother in a bad language.

invalid transaction has been made against my card
Hi,

I had received a Credit Card from SBI on the 7th July, 2007. For last 3 months, I have not received any Credit Statement.

And then all of a sudden, I receive a call from Collections Department, from Chennai, that a Transaction had been made for Jun, 2007 worth Rs. 3900/= has been made.

First of all, I had not received the card by that date, so the transaction is entirely invalid, and secondly I have not received any Statement for any of the months. Then, I went on to call up the Customer Care Dept and they made an excuse saying, that the Statement could not reach me because of incorrect Pin Code. Now the bigger question is, if they have sent the card on the correct Pin Code, how are they not able to deliver the Statements at the same address.

Seems to be unbelievable. I am really tired of following this. The only way out for me is to get the card cancelled.

If somebody can help seeing this complaint and can follow this up, please do so...
