Rated first for worst customer service!
I have a SBI card from past 1 year. If you want to SCREW YOUR OWN HAPPINESS, please go for this card. You cannot find a better way of getting your happiness screwed. These were the worst days of my life fighting with their customer service. I dropped in the cheque for the outstanding amount and I again get a call saying I have payment pending. I was fed up and again paid the amount and asked them to close my card. However, even today I get the statement. I dont know what these SBI managers are doing???

Last month, by mistake my wife used the card and again we are supposed to deal with these worst customer service agents. They do not know english or understand any other language. It is located in Chennai and they only know Tamil. I am fedup explaining them that I will be making the payment in next 1 week and you can charge for the late payment. However, I keep getting calls 10 times a day even after I made the payment.

Manager at SBI should make sure that the PCs at their service center are operating perfectly. We are ready to finance for the same. It is better than taking their harassment. Also, I do not understand what these Consumer courts are doing when these many people are having issue with the same bank??? Reserve bank of India has all sorts of amendments to make sure people are not making more money but paying to the government as tax, Loan interest etc.. Why can't it stop these fuck-in banks from harassing people like these??? If it cannot control these banks, it does not have any right to bring other amendments also.. SBI- BASTARDS bank with all BASTARD support people.

Wrong charges!
I had applied for SBI credit card & also get the same under life time free offer. Ever month i got some charge of insurance premium which i have never applied, i also a complain at local Surat office & helpline also. After six months they imposed late fee month on month on that charged. My outstanding is Rs 1493 however i have not activate the card. Everyone beware!

Wrong EMI calculation
I am using a SBI Gold card from last around 1 year. I purchased a water purifier using this card and got a call from the bank that I can convert this amount in 6 monthly EMIs. I said OK and the told me that in a few minutes I will got a confirmation call for the same. I received the call and again I confirmed that I am ready for 6 months EMIs.

Now when I received my statement I surprised to saw that they have calculated EMI for 24 months that means more interest. I call the customer care and they told me that it will be rectified and withing 7 days you will get new statement. I didn't received any statement till one month.

After one month I again call the customer care department and that time they told me that they can not change this EMI plan back to 6 month but they can cancel it and now I have to pay full amount at once.

Now when they record the conversation and I asked them to play the conversation which I had with the EMI department they never played any conversation. I am very shocked with the behavior of the customer care. When I agreed on 6 months of EMI then why they made 24 EMIs and now they are not agree to revert back it to 6 months. Very bad service.

I Mr Rajendra Suresh Dakhale residing at 63/3108 Vartak Nagar , Thane – 400 606. My Mobile No 98218 02 695. I am not at all satisfied with the services which is provided to me from SBI cards resulting that I would like to cancel my Credit Card with immediate effect.

I have paid Rs 17,768=62 ( Seventeen Thousand Seven hundred Sixty eight & Sixty two paise by Cheque only. I had issued a cheque from my Saving Account to SBI Card. Cheque is debited in my account on 21/07/2006 as per the Bank Statement from The Mahanagar Co-Op Bank Ltd. From August or September onwards I am getting calls from SBI Payment Services Pvt Ltd Delhi for the Payment They are asking me the payment of the amount which is paid by me in july only. After fighting with them for a month or more I am able to convince them about my case. Till that time every day I was getting calls from different executives. In December I got call from SBI Andheri that your payment is outstanding they are also asking for the payment which is paid by me in July 06. Worst part is that they came to my residence for the payment unfortunately I was in office but when I came to know that person from SBI came for payment I immediately called him & tell him the truth. Next day I went to Bank & collected Bank Statement as well as the certificate from the Bank mentioning that the 17768-62 is debited to my account on 21/07/06 and credit send through RBI Clearing to SBI Andheri Branch after two days Mr Mangesh from SBI andheri called me & told me that your cheque was in suspense account now it will get credited to your account. Today is February 23.2007 even 7 days before I have received the bill from SBI cards and asking to pay around 4000 to 5000 for the Interest or something. You tell me sir why I should pay the interest & what about the wastage of time & energy which I have spend to convince to sbi card’s useless people (They help me after 5 months ). So many times I ask for the senior persons no or name to explain my problem but he didn’t give me the no his mobile no is 9819921104.

In future I will not go for SBI Card neither I will suggest my friends & relatives reason is that I have got such horrible experience from you people.

Now have applied credit card to HSBC but they hv rejected my appl. Sir, Again I am requesting you to do something in my case.

Don't ever do mistake of taking SBI credit card!
I am another person who got a very bad experience from this SBI people. I have taken SBI credit card 1 year ago and I have used this card hardly 3 or 4 times. But in September,2006 I got a huge bill of 28,000/-. When I checked the bill, I found that it was for some air tickets (King fisher and AirDeccan) booked by some fraud people, using my credit card number. I don't know how this happened. I haven't given my credit card details to anyone. It was completely a fraudulent transaction!!!

I was really shocked by seeing this and I called SBI customer care and I blocked my account. And told them the entire story. And I filed a dispute against my card misuse. But their response was truly cheating. Every day I used to get calls 5/6 times for the bill payment. I was fed up with this calls and filed disputes again for my card misuse (more than 10 complaints I have given for this.) I was really frustrated and fedup over this.

One day when I called up customer care, they told that "All the disputes are closed in favor of me". I believed them and I told them to send the hard copy of that. But I didn't receive any. Next time when I called them, they replied that "Sorry sir, all the disputes filed are closed against me". (Just the opposite what they told us before). So I have to pay the amount.

The same scenario repeated 2-3 times. I am not getting how these people are telling contrast things during every call... Last day I told them to cancel my card. Anyway I am not planning to pay for that...

More than money, people will value peace and mental relief. These people will spoil that very well. Even though its NOT at all our mistake.

Now I believe the biggest mistake that I have done in my entire life is - "I have taken that SBI credit card". And also I believe these SBI customer care is only for asking money and they are not ready to do any help for customers.

If anyone reading this, can suggest a solution on How to get justice in this matter, PLEASE help me out!!!

Mental harassment by SBI Credit Card Department
Myself Krishan Kumar is one of the mentally harassed credit card holder's of SBI. I have been holding this card for around 6 months and this period of 6 months have been a torture for me. I have never ever used this card since i have been applied for the same just because of the negative feedback which i got from my friends. At the time of applying i have denied for all the extra facilities like insurance, easy bill etc...

Now i have been receiving continuous legal notices from the SBI department stating that Rs. 7733 is due upon me. They even call me up offering me a waver of around Rs. 3000. Now they are asking for Rs. 4000/- in order to settle this dispute. All these has harassed me a lot and is fed up of all this. The Ref. no. of the legal notice which i received is : QL/150/APR/07/2148. When asked they don't even have the details of why this much amount has been charged towards my credit card.

Being one of the largest banks in the work they are offering such a below standard service to their customers and threatening their customers of submitting a particular amount in order to settle it. But they question is "Why...?". Everyone earns their money by shear hard work and no one will pay a single penny for free.

Important Note: "Never ever in your life apply for a SBI credit card, no matter what all facilities they are providing".

No statement received!
I have a card from SBI I received this in the month of Feb about 13th, from that day I haven't received and conversion from State Bank only people phone to me Sir they are the pending in your accounts please play 180 Rs, pay 800 Rs just on calls but no statement I have complaint many times to toll free numbers they only say Sir there are some problem so we cant deliver the statement to you but tomorrow or day after you will get it surely... But till day I haven't received any statement I just wanna ask you the simple question if you collection guy come to ask the payment then why not statement come through by them or courier.

Even till date I haven't received the pin numbers also, last time a gentle man have phoned me up and he promised me that he will send me the statement on 20th of april you just deposit the Rs. 800.00 to the drop box or i will send my collection guy, then next day he sent the collection guy I have paid him 4000.0o cheque instead of 800.00 because I know I have to pay the levies but why I am not getting any statement from the bank.

If there is any problem why should the people from bank bringing in my knowledge. Stay away from SBI!

Looting by SBI Card
I opted for Royal Sundaram's Hospital Cash Scheme through SBI Credit Card during 2005. SBI Card collected it as 12 installments. When the Royal Sundaram asked for continuation of the Scheme I agreed and an amount of 3665/- was included in the next months statement and I paid it promptly in the next payment in full without delay.

But to my surprise, in the next months statement, SBICARD has charged Rs. 1,122.00 as HO Cash Admin Fee without informing about such a cheat was utter despair and confusion regarding the payment of the amount shown the statement because:

1. SBI Card or Royal Sundaram have not informed me about this much huge administration fee. Later Royal Sundarm has told that they are not charging anything other than the premium amount of Rs. 3665.00

2. The Administration fees is very huge i.e., Rs.1,122.40/- for 3,665/- which is 31%. This much admin fee can not be justified for just passing the amount to Royal Sundaram.

Then I contacted the SBI CARD helpline and requested the person to cancel the admin fee or if not possible, cancel the card. He said to remit the rest of the amount excluding Rs. 1,122.40/-. When I checked with the help line on the next day, they said that my card has been cancelled and the admin fee can not be revoked. Hence I did not remit the bill amount.

I have not paid any further bills and not done any transactions on the cards.

CAN ANYBODY ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO ? What I have to do to solve this problem?
