around 2 years back, SBI approach to me for getting crdit card which was free with no annual charges. They confirmed me that there will be no hidden charges, so I got the same from them (a/c No: 5264685420205906)..
when first monthly statement came, SBI asked to pay me 180 Rs. where as I was not having any transaction by that card. so I called to customer care & asked about the same. Customer care officer explained me that it is insurance charges & I have to pay.
I gave them cheque worth Rs.180 & sufficient amount was available in my account. I received letter from SBI that they were unable to credit my cheque without proper reason. I called them back & instructed to close my account & at the same time returned their card back with letter to close the account at their Delhi address.
There after after 1 year I got statement from them to pay 3000 rs & regularly they are sending me statements now amount above 5000 Rs. There agents calling me & harrasing me to pay the money.
I have not had a single transaction from there card & still they are troubling me to pay the money.
I will appreciate if you will help me in this matter.

I need seriously help and advice from right sources.

I was a user of SBI credit card some 3 yrs back. In May '07 I had paid my full SBI statement amount and had cleared the account. Later had sent a mail to SBI to close the account.

Now its 3 yrs up the SBI Credit Card leagal department are calling me up and asking me to pay a sum of 3000.00

On asking them the reason they say you have to pay a processing fee of 129.00 Per month even if you dont use the card. so in 3 yrs it has accumulated a sum of 3000.00.

I dont understand when I had requested them to close the account how come the customer care people did not tell me about it.

Today for not fault and mistake these people are charging me 3000.00 Rs.

I need a serious suggession and help on how I can solve this problem without paying my non-fault amount.

Hoping to hear from some serious helpers.

I have applied sbi credit card in the month of may'06. I did not received the card till August06.Later i changed my job location and my neighbour informed me that my card came and went back through courrier.
In between some of the insurance people called me for SBI credit card insurance and i have not accepted that one.

Till now i did not received my card but they are generating the bills for undelivered credit card in the name of insurane.I wrote many mails to sbi cards but there is no response.

Is it right to generate bills for undelivered SBI Credit Card?

I (GANESH SURESH WADILE) have payment by cheque in SBI brach DHULE (MAHARASHTRA) dated 18 AUG 2009 via icici A.C.no.007301535195 RS.410 CHEQUE no.980845.But this is not shown ur credit card account

I have many other bank cards you can check out my payment records in that i have paid on time .
But this SBI had made a mistake from that side and threatening us to settle the due which is not actually due.

I will explain you whole story it is like this:
I have taken a credit card number 5101-2869-2477-7453(SBI) The first time bill was generated for Rs below 700/(Aug 2008)- it was not communicated to me neither by post nor by sms.
next month i have rec ivied a bill Of Rs 700+350as late Payment due charges.
When i have explained a details of the issue they promise me that i shall pay Principal amount Rs 700 and the late payment will be reversely be done in next month bill,
but it need had happened so.
Next month i have got a bill which includes Rs 350 + Late payment due int rest on Rs 350/-.I have asked to block the card they have conform me that they have block the card they asked me to cut the card into 4 pieces and drop into sky box. I have dopne the same .

After one year they are calling me and asking to settle Rs 3000/-or else thay me not issue me any loan from any bank.

Pl hepl me out of this.
