Harassment on payment
I was issued a primary SBI card No.4317575164081318with expiry date 11/2006 I have not signed on the card and it was never used by me. Another card No.4317575169074250 was issued to me without my request and without using the card I returned it in pieces on 17/10/2007 by registered post (Receipt no. RLA 2394 Karakulam 695564). Hence I am not liable to pay any amount to SBI.

Several demand notices were sent to me Finally they said the matter could be settled if I pay Rs 300/ They sent a person to my house and I paid Rs 300/ (receipt No 9704658). They have not settled the matter yet and in the latest notice they have demanded a sum of Rs 14000/. Several threatening calls are also coming from Chennai. I request you to direct the SBI authorities to settle the matter based on Rs 300/ which I remitted as per their earlier demand.

I am a BP patient with high cholesterol The frequent calls and filthy words in Malayalam over the phone by the SBI personnel from the number 914430240274 caused me great mental stress and strain. So I request you to direct the SBI authorities to give me a compensation of Rs 25000/.

WRONG BILL STATEMENTS
Hello,

Yesterday i recieved a credit card statement for my SBI card. They have put some late payments and some other charges but till date i've not done any shopping form it. And from the last 4 months i am out of india. Dont knoe wat is happening.

Now i want SBI Credit card department to send me the zero bill statement and deactivate my card.

FAKE CHARGES DEBITED FROM CREDIT CARD AND DELAY IN SENDING MONTHLY STATEMENT MONTH ON MONTH BASIS
DEAR SIR,
THIS IS SUMIT GANGULY SBI CARD HOLDER[CARD NO- 4317575206242043] BEING HARRASHED BY DIFFERENT PROBLEMS AND FAKE CHARGES WHICH ARE AS FOLLOWS;-
.
1.LATE PAYMENT FEES [EXCL GST RS 43.26] RS 350
2.ANNUAL FEE [EXCL GST RS 92.70] RS 750
3.TOTAL GST FOR CURRENT STMT RS 230.97.

ON THE BASE OF THIS FOLLOWING CLARIFICATION ASKED TO SBI CUSTOMER SERVICE HEAD IS AS FOLLOWS-

1. I HAVE BEEN CLEARLY INSTRUCTED AT THE TIME OF ASSIGNING THE CARD THAT ITS LIFE TIME FREE CARD SO AFTER THAT ALSO ANNUAL FEE GOT CHARGED AND ALSO WOULD LIKE TO INTIMATE THAT MY CARD GOT LAPSED AS ON 06/08 AND I HAVE DENIED TO RENEW THE CARD AND ALREADY INSTRUCTED THIS TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT AFTER THAT ALSO I GOT CHARGED FOR RENEWAL AS ON 03/07/08 WHETHR MY CARD GOT LAPSED PRIOR TO THAT.

2. AFTER RECEIVING THE PAYMENT FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE OF RS 1790 VIA CHEQUE NO-909657 RECEIVED BY SBI AS ON 9.06.08 ALSO I GOT CHARGED FOR LATE PAYMENT WHETHER THE DUE DATE WAS 23 RD OF EVERY MONTH.

3. THERE IS NO PROPOER CLARIFICATION MENTIONED FOR GST DEBIT FO CURRENT STMT CHARGED MONTH ON MONTH BASIS ON MY CARD.

4. AS PER THE MAY MONTH STATEMENT TOTAL OUTSTANDING SHOWN RS 8021 AND ALSO AND ENCASH AMMOUNT OF RS 34000 TOTAL COMES TO RS 42, 021 BUT ON THE MONTH OF JULY STATEMENT ITS SHOWN THAT TOTAL AMMOUNT DUE IS RS 15589.45 AND ENACASH AMMOUNT IS RS 34, 807.50 TOTAL COMES TO RS 48, 739.45 WHICH SHOWS A DIFFERENCE AMMOUNT OF RS 6717.50 CHARGED COMPLETELY FAKE ON MY STATEMENT WHETHER I HAVE NOT MADE ANY TRANSACTION ON JUNE 2008 AND ALSO NOT RECEIVED THE STATEMENT FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE .
THERE IS MASSIVE DISCRIPANCIES SHOWN ON MY MONTH ON MONTH STATEMENT.
5. I HAVE ALREADY MADE A PAYMENT OF RS 2403 AS AUGUST 08 PAYMET AS ON 07.08.08 VIA CHEQUE NO 059211WHETHER I HAVN’T RECEIVED THE STATEMENT FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST ALSO.

6. EACH AN EVRY MONTH I HAVE TO SEND MAIL TO REQUEST YOU TO SEND THE STATEMENT.

. I HAVE INTIMATED SBI SEVERAL TIMES BUT AFTER THAT ALSO MONTH ON MONTH BASIS IM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM WHETHER LOTS OF DIFFERENCE SHOWN ON MY STATEMENT AND ALSO THIS IS NOT SHORTED OUT PROPERLY NOR ANY ACTION TAKEN FROM SBI TO PREVENT THIS FRAUD .

Unauthorized payment
I have received statement on 19/July/2008. Observed that, payment to LIC of India. My premium amount also similar to the same initially, i have not noticed. After 2 days, there is change in premium amount, and I remember, i have paid through ICICI online payment. Then, I called, Call centre, that time I do not have the policy no. I enquired with Call centre guy. This is the amoung is seems to be higher, can you confirm the LIC Policy no. He has given the Policy no. I have already registered in LIC website. I have logged and enroll this polich no. Then, I come to know that, it is totally new policy no. which is owned by a unknown lady name. 15 minutes after I called, SBI call centre and communicate the issue. But, the call centre guy is refused to take the complaints. And, he said you only authorised the payment. I refused, i do not know the person. How come i can authrose a payment to them. I have argued with the guy, even he is not interested to take the compaint.
then i wrote the mail to email addrsss given in the statement. Waiting for the feedback. The way the credit card team is working it is highly dangeros. Normally, I am very the statement carefully. As per the Bank, the payment were received even before. I have shocked to here this. I do not know, how it is possible.
This i need to sort out legaly and through consumer forum. Please guide any one.

Invalid card payment
I am holding SBI Credit card from last 2 years . After 1year completion my card became invalid (Validity period of the card is 1 Year). But every month i am receiving the statement from SBI credit card and they are charging Rs.100 Every month. Regarding this i spoke to call center several time every time they assure me to revise the validity period. I frequently sending the mail to Head SBI credit card, every time they will send the mail saying that they will solve the problem, But till date it is not happening. Its really annoying and unreasonable act from sbi that for invalid card i am paying Rs.100 every month. After paying 1000 Rs. i stopped the payment last month, but they charged 450 Rs.

Now, they have charged me some heavy interest and financial charges. While i asked for the explanation, they have nothing to say except harassing calls for payment.

Entered my name in CIBIL with inaccurate information
I GOWRI SHANKAR GAVARA applied for SBI credit card and got it.

As a new credit card member to the bank..SBI has offered me giving 32, 000Rs/- DD free of interest for 3 months, and

nominal fee 300Rs- to be paid on receiving the amount. As promised by SBI, they have sent DD to my office address.

I couldnt receive the DD due to my office dispatch departmenet misplaced the DD.

I didnt encash the 32, 000Rs/- in my bank account. I was not aware that they were sending credit card statements to office address.

Eventhough I received the credit card I didnt use the card.

After few months I got a mobile message from SBI asking me to pay 52, 000Rs/- .

Since they were keep on adding the interest on non credited 32, 000Rs- in my account.

Immediately I complained to customer care and told them to revert back the fees whatever they charged.

Customer care said its their mistake of charging the customer and said they will revert the charges.

Due to personal reasons I applied for personal loan in private bank and came to know that my name has been entered

in CIBIL by credit card department(SBI), so bank declined my personal loan request.

They suggested me to remove my entry from CIBIL as early as possible.

Then I approached SBI credit card customer care and requested send me no due certificate and removal of my name

from CIBIL.

Two months later (after so much struggle, calling once in two days to customer care) I received No due certificate from SBI AVP customer care.

Customer care is not updating the CIBIL database, since removal of my entry is not their scope.

I am fedup with the delay in process..almost I lost 3 months in followup of removal of my name from CIBIL.

Could you please suggest me how can I deal this(removal of my name from CIBIL).

Can I put complain in consumer court?

Wrongly debited amount of Rs.25,000
I was using the SBI card since 2005, In the month of April 2005 they had issued the pay order of Rs. 25, 000/- which we had not received & they wrongly debited the amount of Rs.25000/- (Twenty five thousand) in my SBI card statement & also they have started EMI for this amount. After observing my statement I had complained to SBI regarding the wrong debit of the amount, which they had also confirmed that they had got the pay order back. But despite the complaint they have debited my account with Rs.25000/- & also charged Late payment Fees, & interest on unpaid EMI in my account.

I have spoken to customer service & send the mails; but they told that late fees & interest has to be paid. I had also mailed to them stated that I am not going to use in future, the same thing was informed to customer service by phone. I have also given them written complaint on 15th March, 2007, but they have taken no action & added unnecessary charges in my account.

Now recently, I have received the legal notice from Lawyers Inc. Ref:QL/150/JUNE/LOT6/PT1/08/3321 stating that my total outstanding Rs.70286.72 on 25-Jun-2008, if i don’t pay, they will take appropriate legal action against me to recover the dues with interest and other charges.

Also they have given my name in defaulter's list which is spoiling my image in all banks.

An amount of Rs350/ is charged towards late fee this month. Though I have dropped Cheque (MICR ICICI Cheque) well in advance at Penderghast road ATM DROP BOX. Penalizing in this fashion is not justified keeping in tack of credits around 2 years. I wish to revert Rs.350/ in line with good business gesture. Your billing intimation is worst in comparison other CC operators Still you are very prompt on penalization. On line feed back from web site is not passing the mails.

sending bill even after full payment
After the full bill is paid as per statement for the month april i.e Rs.1859.57 and paid the amount of Rs.1860 before the due date i.e may 5th, 2008, again i have received a bill stating i have to pay an amount of Rs.33.87 before 8th of june 2008.
