SBI Credit Card Reviews

NOT RECEIVED SO FAR EVEN AFTER 3 MONTHS
I have applied for SBI card in the month of November 2007 thhrough our State bank of Hyderabad, gunfoundry Hyderabad branch as i am a employee of State Bank of Hyderabad with a promise that the card will be delivered at my residence with in 15 days. But even after 5 months i could not here anything from you. Whenever i call the SBI card people sitting at our Gunfoundry branch they say they don't know about the card.

I request you to cancel the issue of credit card.

STATEMENT NOT RECEIVED
I AM NOT RECEVING MY BILLING STATEMENT SINCE LAST TWO MONTH, A PART OF THIS WHENEVER I WANNA TO CONFIRM ABOUT MY CARD STATEMENT YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE(PRIYANKA)USING ABUSING WORLD, KIDLY DO THE NEEDFULL FOR YOUR CUSTOMR FOR BETTER SERVICES.

not getting the bills
I Madhu Nichani resident of H.No 1222, Sec-17, Faridabad, Haryana hold a credit card of SBI with No. 5101286924048251. It is a master card valid upto Sep 9, 2011.

I am not getting any billing statement related to this card.

The only message i get is on the mobile which only tells the due date of the bill to be paid & the amount.
No other information I've received till date as regularly I am paying my bills only on behalf of the messages.
I don't even know whether the money which I pay is being deposited in my account or not.

Please do the needful at the earliest.

wrong statement
my sbi credit card no.4006661509375692 statement dated.1303.08.They have charged me to pay annual fee charged Rs.561.80, but I, received a call from your sbi credit card from chenni and they repedly said that they will not charges any annual fee charges and they forced me to take the credit card. So far I have never used the card, then for what i should pay, if you required Iwill cross cut the credit card and post to you.

Applying late fees with out sending bill and harassment calls!
I was holding SBI credit card No. 4006676016519624 valid up to May 2008 and have been the regular user of the card. All of sudden in the Month of Sept/Oct 2006 Bank has stopped sending the bill statement and I had written mails to the customer care to send me my bills by courier and also I had called on call center customer care on 6th December 2006 and registered the complaint of non receipt of bills and the have informed that I do not want any e bill on any of my mails.

Later on I had received the bill and was assured by the customer care executive and manager that the late payment charges shall be reverted and I had made all payments for the purchases made by me by usage of card. But unfortunately on the subsequent card bills the late payment charges has not been reversed and in fact have been increased every month. I had been constantly writing to customer care on receipt of every bill but customer care did not bother to reply back neither done any corrections.

I kept on complaining on the customer care numbers and every time I was assured that the same be rectified but was not done so. Having a feeling of disgust I have asked bank to cancel my card and have stopped using the same. Let me confirm that the usage and purchase bills have been settled by me in time and request you to reverse the charges asap.

Of late I have been receiving DEROGATORY CALLS from bank which are unwarranted.

change the address new one as mentioned below

Still the address was not updated, i have dialed your help line number multiple times
they are note the address, but not update the same. Because of this i am not
receive the monthly statement in time , I have loosed so much of money due to this problem.

One fine morning, i have received the call from direct SBI CARD Guys regarding
sbi new insurance policy, I have explained my situation clearly to that guy ,
he also accept to reverse the money that i was paid for delay payment and he provided the new insurance policy.I remember that,the guy name was Grirs and i have received the call from 044-42660746.( SBI office )

still my address is not updated to new one.

My card no :4317 5750 3453 7861


From september 2006 i have paid the money to sbi card from citibank chennai mount road.but still the monthly statement went to the old address( madurai ).

Kindly reverse the money that i was paid for delay payment and update the new address.

if you are not able to do my requirement, kindly provide your address to talk face to face.

Witout using the card raised bill
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a credit holder of ABN AMRO BANK Credit card holer, card No.5415382327436036, validity upto-12/08. I have used this card only once and the amount paid on before due date.

3-4 months back I lost that card and already informed and blocked the card.

Suddenly on 19/02/08 at12:31:41 pm they sent a messgae in my mobile saying " Your Card Bill of Rs. 4239.98 with due date 08/03/08 has been sent & will reach youin next 7 days.Alsoaccess CardsOnline on website to view bill details-www.abnamro.co.in.

I havn't use the card anymore but still they are sending this kind of message last year also they did it but after talking to the executive they had shorted out by reversing the said amount. Withou any consent they used to add some offer fees. I am really upset with such things that is happening repeatedly that must be stopped.It simply creating mental presure for me.

So I am requesting you to look into the matter and stop this kind of practice.

Telephonic harassment even after the payment made
Dear Sir,
I am submitting yet another complaint, the details of which are appended below. Two more call was received at my Bombay residence, even after the fact that we had deposited the due payment by cheque dropped in the SBI drop box. The details of cheque deposited in SBI drop box on 3rd Feb was again dictated to Mr. Tejender Singh, who called today at 1328. He was also informed that I had activated the AUTO PAY facility in my SBI savings account at Gondia, Main branch.

I once again request you to please take immediate action so that this daily telephonic harassment can come to an end.

COPY OF COMPLAINT MADE ON 18/02/08
Dear Sir,
I am lodging the complaint through this e-mail about the telephonic harassment by SBI. The current dated cheque No.005468 of Rs34500, drawn on SBI, Main Branch Gondia, Maharastra, for the payment due on 7th February 2008 against my SBI Credit card number 4006676019452377 was dropped in the drop box of SBI branch, Malad(E), Mumbai on 3rd Feb. 2008. A week after that , one of my acquaintance, I call him Uncle, started getting 2-3 phone calls a day asking for the payment. Every time he told the SBI executive, that the cheque has already been deposited. So far he has received more than 20 calls in15 days. Those executives were unable to tell the status of the cheque deposited on 3rd Feb. and instead asking for one more cheque of the same amount advising me to stop payment of the previous cheque. Presently I am out of country, cant stop the payment of earlier cheque. How can I make the due payment twice. Even if i make the payment in case of misplaced cheque, they should send me a e-mail stating the fact and assuring not to en cash the previous cheque after I issue a new cheque.

I therefore request the grievances cell of RBI to please look into the matter urgently to stop this harassment by SBI.

Mis selling/ Mis communication from the employees of SBI Cards
I am holding a Credit Card with a limit of Rs 118000 for more than a year than one fine day I recieved a call from one of SBI executive who proposed thatI have been selected for the upgradation of my gold card to Platinum card & as one of the benefits he told that my credit limit will be enhanced by 40 % for which I need to give acall to customer care & then n there my limit will be enhanced because of which I gave my acceptance for the offer over the phone. This entire conversation was recorded for future references (as claimed by the executive).

But when I called the customer care after recieving the platinum card they told me that my limit can not be enhanced & according to the executive Rs 118000 is my enhanced limit enjoyed by me.

Mis-guide & mis-comunicating to Customer
This is the Incident of March 13th 2007, where as I received a call from SBI Chennai Collection department (Namely the person is Mr. Kartick A)to make the minimum payment against my O/s. However I agreed to make the minimum payment & also I request him to convert the balance ammount in EMI whatever the O/s or dues remain after making this minimum payment. At that time my O/s was Rs. 21,062.77/-

We both were agreed on the condition that I have to pay Rs. 1265/- till one year whose total will come Rs. 15,180/-. Further I ask him that "if I pay Rs. 15,180/- through EMI then what I have to do with the remaining balance from Rs. 21,062/-". He replied that "You can pay that balance amount at any time in that particular year".

After discusion he gave me his contact number which is 044 - 3902 0202 Extn. 151 and 044 - 3983 0351 and also suggest a name (Mr. Vamsi) to contact in future if I face any kind of problem in this regards. He also give a me a PIN number (2179 2773) to quote at Customer care for future communication.

I was very happy that the SBI understand the problems of the Customer and its a best cards in India.

According to the discussion I made the payment frquently till five month of Rs. 1200/- aprox. But when I seen my credit card statement I was surprise that it's showing Rs. 19,342.16/- whereas I expected it would be Rs. 15,062.77 or if its add some interest also it's comes Rs. 16,562.77/-.

Well I got some doubt on the statment & I immediatly rang up to Mr. Kartick on August at above mention Telephone Number from Hyderabad where I found that some body pickup the call & put the receiver on hold till 10-15 minutes and thenafter they disconnect the call without any response. I tried this number sevral time but the response was same.

Then I speak to the Customer Care & inform him the full story where he answered me that whatever the discussion was happened with Mr. Kartick on March was not processed. It is rather shocking me.

Well the communication was going on with Customer Care Executive suddenly my cell phone was disconnected due to bad network and I tried to approch that person but I was fail to contact him again.

But again what I seen in my next statement (September), that the Customer Care Executive had converted some amount of Rupees in EMI from Rs. 19,342.16 from his own wish for which I had not been informed or rather agreed.

Till December I made the payment of Rs. 1852/-, 3800/- then I ask for settlement of my Credit card from Collection Department and aslo send a mail to [email protected] as I am receiving a call from them every day to make the minmum payment.

Now its Feb 2008 (In between Dec - Feb) I do spoke with so many Collection Exceutive whose name are Mr. Mahesh, Mr. Imran Khan and many more. They are promising me to make the minmum payment and my account will settle in One Week. Till now I had made the payment of Rs. 2000/-, and Rs. 1850/- to SBI but still now I had not been received any call from SBI for settlement.

But when I speak to Customer Care regarding this they said those who are informed or promised to you for settlement of your Credit Card ask them only to settle the A/c. I had been also tried to approch them from my Cell phone but the thing is only their welcome music is playing while I am making the call.

I had been also forwarded this complaint via mail to [email protected] & [email protected] on 17th Jan 2008 but still I had not received any response from them also.

This is what they (GE-SBI) are doing Unproffesional & Unfair business with customer.
