Waiver on the balance.
I have been using this SBI Credit Care for almost a year now , I had an outstanding for Rs18000/- on my card in the month of July2007 , I recd a call from the collection agency for SBI to make the minimum amount due on the card , I offered collection agency to pay a sum of Rs15000/- on the condition for the waiver on my balance amount leaving Rs500/-as an outstanding , which they agreed on , all these months I was in the impression that I had got an waiver on my balance amount after my initial payment of Rs15000/- to the bank , lately I came to know that waiver was not affected on my card and I still had an outstanding of Rs4063/- bank has now taken up the issue and they are in the process from last 1 week to resolve .

Refund cheque bounced
I had this so called Credit card from SBI, I gave a post dated cheque of Rs 1600 as a payment. Before that date I closed the card by paying the entire outstanding amount. Ideally the company should have never submitted my post dated cheque. But its SBI you can’t expect them to do so.

Any way my cheque of Rs 1600 was cleared and when asked for a refund they agreed to pay only 737, I said OK. But the cheque reached me after 3 months. I think the cheque was walking to my house!!.

I submitted the cheque and it bounced ( reason SBI stopped the payment). When asked the reason, they said it was erroneously done and asked me to resubmit, I resubmitted it and guess what it bounced again. I have asked for an explanation from them, but still no response!

I have decided not to submit the cheque now. Let the poor SBI souls have the money. These banks are like cancer cells and should be thrown out of business. I think any MNC or other Indian bank like ICICI bank is a thousand times better than these so called largest bank of India.

If you a SBI card read this cancel it and have peace of mind!!!

SBI credit card bills without credit card!
Long back about ten months before an executive came to me for SBI credit cards that has life time free subscription and lot of benefits, so as I applied for it. But for my surprise, to till date I didn't receive any SBI credit cards. but I use to get regular mails tomy mail ID from SBI stating my credit card payment... as till now i did not used any SBI card, and I never came to know my card number and how it is... instead I am getting mails and messages to my mobile for payment due.

I had sent a mail to marketing manager about this and asked him to cancel the card, and i am not liable to pay the amount also... he replied that he will do it, but till now he didn't and i use to get monthly mails and messages... I am sick of it... I don't know how to log a complaint, any one please suggest me how to complaint about it!

Idiots are managing this company!
I have been using this card for around a year. It is really a torture to own a SBI Card & this is to alert all of you about the pain ryt now customers are facing.

On 7th Sep at 4:30 pm I got call from +911130835926 number the address was of lajpat nagar Delhi area, Caller was a lady & she called me to remind me my due date but the conversation switched to high voice pitch from her side in which she said "O Hello you have to submit your payment as my records are showing your payment is still pending" all in hindi & treating like I am big culprit, I told her that I know I have delayed my payment 4-5 days but already submitted through skypak dropbox But she keeps on continuing her harsh & rude language like "jab payment ki aukaat nahi to credit card kyon lete ho..."

On this I asked her details of address from where she is calling & who authorize you to do such calls she put me on hold & was telling her colleague that "kisi batamiz ka phone hai" which i clearly heard & then she disconnect her line.

This is not the first time i have received such type of call in rude manner but today they crossed their limits.

SBI credit card collection department is extremely rude, unprofessional and totally untrained, they don't know how to treat with their customers. These DSAs made this their business and to just for 30-35 rupees for which they obtained from SBI against each collection.

The strange thing is why SBI a renowned name in INDIA has put their reputation in such type of untrained DSA collection department.

Worst services!
I have a story for SBI Credit Cards,

I had a dispute with SBI cards in Nov 2006 after I paying a amount of Rs.423/- towards bill amount on Oct 2006, through my SBI account Online transaction.

By mistake I entered last 2 digits wrong & till date they haven’t reverted that transaction where as adding Interest over Interest. I send their card back to them in Jan 2007 saying to cancel the card, Still day they haven’t canceled the card & as on July the amount stands to @Rs.3500/- for an mere amount of Rs.423/-.

The height is now, one person saying that he is advocate for SBI calling me & saying that the outstanding is @Rs.65000/- (Sixty Five thousand) & asking to see me in his office in Parry’s. Chennai India,

It is a request for you friends to stop using SBI cards & Surrender their card back. The call I got from 044 3983 0217.

SBI Promotions are fake!
I hold a SBI Gold Card No 4xxxxxxxxxxx9058 from SBI. I made a purchase for over Rs 30000 in the month of October 2006. As that was a promotion period "Jo Dikhta Hai Wohi Mi1ta Hai” offer from SBI, I won myself a Diamont Pendant worth Rs 4595. I received a letter dated 22-Nov-2006 signed by Nirupam Sahay, Vice President - Marketing, SBI mentioning the same.

As I didn’t receive any pendant from SBI till Feb 15th, I wrote a letter addressing to "The Marketing Manager (JDHWMH offer), SBI Cards and Payment Services Pvt Ltd, PO Bag No 28; GPO, New Delhi 110001” as given in the letter from SBI (In case of non-receipt of the pendant till 15th Feb 2007, please write to...).

As there was no response from SBI to my letters, I called SBI Cards helpline no. 040-39020202, to file a complaint and also sent a mail to [email protected]. There was no response for any of the mail or phone calls.

On 16-Mar-2007, I was given a complaint number 0060810056539 and the executive said that SBI is following on the case and I would receive the pendant in 1 week. I used to call SBI every week to receive the stereo type answer "You would receive in another week" or "please call after 1 week to know about the status". When I called the helpline on 30-Apr-2007, I was surprised to hear from one Ms Saranya that there is no complain number for this case and she resisted to give a complaint number.

When I called the SBI helpline again on 7/May/2007, I was give a fresh complaint number 0061270037348 and was asked to wait for another 3 days. This looks like a cat and mouse game, where I call SBI regularly and they keep postponing things. The promotion looks like a false one to mislead people. I am not sure if anyone ever received the so called pendant they promised to give.

On getting frustrated I sent mails to the vice president on e-mal ID [email protected]. It looks like the VP doesn't even read mails, but sends a response using a standard template. The response doesn't have any sense at all.

SBI also sells sensitive data to its vendors. I observed this as I receive promotional calls to the number which only SBI credit Card officials know.

Rude behavior, pathetic service of SBI credit card
I am having SBI Credit Card since last three years. A resident of Nagpur, Maharashtra (INDIA), I received my few credit card statement in the beginning for which I paid the bills regularly. But later, the bill statement stopped coming by post and SBI Cards started sending the same on my Email ID for which I never asked. After couple of months I started receiving calls from their Delhi call center for the payment and subsequently their collection center representatives started giving threatening calls and also visited my residence and misbehaving with my elderly parents and my wife as I was not available personally during the day time. This pathetic behavior disturbed me. Even after asking for bills (hard copies), to their call centre, I never received bills in hard copy. My card is now blocked and the local collection boys still threaten and misbehave every now and then. Their only contention is for the minimum payment and not for settling and account. SBI Card holders, please beware of this.

Abusive language by customer service representative
I am using S BI credit card. Before I go to cancel my S BI card and take any further action and complaint to higher authorities I would like to bring to your notice that S BI have some real bad abusive customer service representatives.

I received a call from one of your agents named Sudhanshu Gupta or Sharma (exactly don't remember the sir name) from Delhi - Phone number 011- 46530973 and he started some very bad and abusive language in Hindi. The call I received was on 10th April, 2007 at 2.48 PM.
