SCBM prescription advocacy Reviews

E.S. Coleman January 7, 2010
scam
They told me by phone, they could help me get my unaffordable meds at a much reduced price. Because they were supposedly advocates for the poor, I foolishly thought I could trust them and gave my bank info. They were to send a packet for me to take to my Dr. for signature and prescription and it was extremely important to rush my return. Because I was hospitalised before I even recieved the packet, I didn"t sign or return anything to them I assumed we did not have a binding agreement. The hospital gave me info to get the same meds from the same company for free. That was last Oct. SCBN took $90 that month and has been taking $40 monthly since in spite of numerous calls trying to cancel what they call a binding verbal agreement. Today I finally got a call from an advocate who refused to give me the name of her supervisor. Are these people affiliated with ACORN or the Government? She told me I have to cancel by mail and will not be getting my money back. Why is it they can bind me by phone but cannot cancel me by phone?
