Scott Stevens sold me an 7 year extended warranty for my brand new 2006 Harley Davidson FLTRI on 14 June 2006, and charged my credit card $680.00, the agreed cost.
Just learned today that Scott Stevens is a fraud. The policy he sent me, supposedly issued by Marathon Insurance, was a complete fraud. He not only created his own fraudulent insurance policy, and used Marathon's name, address and contact information on it, but also sent me the policy and other related information in a Marathon Company letterhead and envelope (portraying himself as Marathon Administration Company, Inc.)
I purchased a 7 year, unlimited mileage extended warranty from Scott Stevens, owner of
CycleWarranty.com on 12 June 2006, and he charged $680.00 to my credit card as payment in full. I have
that receipt (with his signature) along with every correspondence between Scott Stevens and I, and the
contact(s) with Scott Stevens signature.
Scott Stevens sent me a policy, issued (apparently) by Marathon. Policy #1st ARV tm MS9200-#14329.
After speaking with several representatives at Marathon Administration Company today, I learned that
Scott Stevens fraudulently used copies of Marathon's insurance policies, letterhead, etc, and has never
paid a premium to the on my behalf, and dozens of other customers of Scott Stevens over the years.
I have spent over an hour on the phone with Nick at Marathon Administrative Company's fraud department,
the BBB in Scott Stevens area, along with the Snohomish County Sheriff's office detective in charge of
fraud, and also the City of Mill Creek and the City of Bothell, WA police departments. Spoke briefly with a
detective at the Bothell, WA department and am waiting to hear back from a detective from the Mill Creek
department.
