I signed up for an online marketing company called Searchn 4 Profits. The company had a 7 day trial, after 7 days the company says your card will be charged $69.97 if you do not cancel your account. I cancelled my account after 4 days. I received a cancellation confirmation email.

I received a charge on my debit card in the amount of $69.97 with the name of the above company in the line item.

I called the phone number listed and the woman answering the phone told me she does not work for the company listed. She works for a company called google fortune. I told her, then how did I get your phone number. She told me that there company has nothing to do with Searchn 4 Profits. Yet, she has all my information and I am a member. She claimed to have nothing to do with the company that charged me, yet processed a refund and cancelled my account. I should expect a refund in 5-14 days. I better receive a refund.

This is a huge scam. How did I find the phone number if the company that is listed as charging me is not the company that charged me???
