My husband bought me a bracelet for Valentine Day. Not knowing much about jewelry he bought a gold over silver bracelet. He paid over one hundred dollars for it and I guess thought he had done a good thing for me. I was pleased that he though of me. The bracelet was purchaced in Fl. and we leave Fl. in April to make our journey north. The bracelet broke after having it for only two and one half months. I did not get to take it in while we were in Fl. because we were in our move to Tn. We got to Tn and became victims of the Millington flood. I went to Memphis mall to Sears right after the flood and was told that the warrenty had expired. They were going to fix it at my cost but then told me it could not be fixed because it was gold over silver. Now im stuck with a bracelet that can't be fixed that was apparently broke because of inperfection. I am totally upset with the rude service I reveived and lack of sympathy they had. I will never shop at Sears again and my girlfriend that was with me said the same. I think I should have gotten my money back at least. Can anything be done, or are we stuck with a bracelet that I can't ever wear?
