We are going on two months without any hopes of having our Sears, Kenmore washer repaired. Our Kenmore washer quit, so we called for warranty repair. Two weeks later a repairman finally came. He said the pump needed replaced. The pump was ordered and it arrived a few days later. There it sat on the broken washer for one and a half weeks waiting for a repairman to return.
A new repairman finally shows up and installs the pump. My wife asks him if it will work and he said the washer needed a pump and I installed a pump and off he goes. My wife puts in a load of close and nothing. By this time the repairman was only gone 15 minutes. We called Sears, but they could bring him back. They had no way to get in touch with him. We were told to call back the next day and schedule someone to come out and look at the washer.
We would have to get in line and wait for a repairman. A couple of weeks later another repairman shows up and says the control board is bad. Of coarse the parts are put on order and they arrive to sit on our dead washer waiting for us to get back in the queue.
Yesterday after a fourth day of missed work for my wife, another repairman comes and installs the board. Off the repairman went without confirming the washer worked. My wife puts a load of clothes in and now we have a flooded laundry room and basement.
A call to Sears confirmed that we can have someone come out and look at it in a couple of weeks.
