Called Sears Home Services on my Kenmore washer - leaking and still under warranty. Tech came out - was very professional and polite. Ordered parts and set up two week follow-up visit to install parts. Another tech came two weeks later and installed the parts. Told me to use the Clean cycle. So as he walked out the door, I ran a Clean cycle. Washer still leaks. I called Sears Home Services and got someone from some other country who told me that she sent the issue to the routing department and that someone would call me shortly. I waited over 2hrs and called back. I got some bimbo, again from some other country who told me the same thing. I told her that it already went to their routing department and that no one has called me back yet. I wanted someone to come back that day to fix the problem. Her response was "Please let me send this to the routing department and they will call you back". Four hours later I decided to try their online Chat. I got the same response - "I will send this to our routing department and they will call you shortly". I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager available. I asked for an explanation as to why the routing department has not called me yet. The guy on the other end would not even respond to that question. Instead, he told me that he was sorry that I was having such a problem and that Sears valued me as a customer and did not want to lose my business. Well, guess what!!! I don't normally do business with Sears because they have such terrible service and do not intend to purchase anything more from Sears. My washer still leaks and no one from Sears Home Services or their Routing department has called me back yet! This is how a company - one that is losing market share in bucket loads on a daily basis - treats their current customers? They obviously do NOT care!!!

Sears no longer has the customers best interest in mind or heart
To start, I'm not at all pleased with the service that I have been getting from from the home service repair center. When I got this washer about 4 years ago, I was asked if I wanted to buy the extended service plan. I was told that, "If they can't fix it, they will replace it, as long as you have the extended service plan. Even if you damage it yourself." The washer has given me problems from the second year till now. And this latest service repairman didn't know what he was doing. I had to help him and ended up cutting my finger on the bracket that he had me remove while he held the tub up. My finger is already showing signs of infection where it got cut. And, we don't have a working washing maching now, either. If we have to bring our clothes to be washed at the local public laundry mat, I might be sending sears a bill. I would like to know why I am paying for an extended service plan, and they STILL expect me to pay MORE FOR PARTS AND SERVICE??? And. I'm willing to bet that I will be getting a call from the Sears Service department in a few weeks, asking me if I want to extend my service agreement for another year or two.. What a joke. I think that it's time for Sears to close it's doors to the public. For good. Sears no longer has the customers best interest in mind or heart. Perhaps they never did.
