We bought a whirlpool kitchen range glass top 4 yrs ago july of 2009 the oven does not work properly and my wife bakes all the time we have had 2-service calls on it to the tune of 190.00 to no avail we also had a 3 year service contract never used my wife visited the store we bought it at only nto be told by the mgr that appliances dont last as long as they used to anymore and told us sears satisfaction gurantee was no longer the sears policy and said theres nothing i can do my hands are tied. my wife and i have bought sears appliances and service contracts for some 30 years. If this decision stands we are cutting up our sears credit cards and buying appliances from now on at a local appliance store where service and satisfaction are at the top of the list. no more sears. we look forward to hearing from someone if we have not hears in 30 days its over. thank you
