They train us to promote extended warranties, upsell every repair, promote additional services & parts that are probably 3x the cost elsewhere. We are instructed behind closed doors how to coerce the cust's into buying services & parts they don't need & constantly reminded to sell extended warranties but not to warranty them at all cost or not to remind customers when their appliance appeared as if they were getting old/worn out & may need some future repairs.
Customers are told there is only a diagnostic fee for coming out. Our computers are only programmed accept full diagnostic fee + repair fee. We'v advised upper management but are told to sell the value of the entire service., that we cannot charge only a diagnostic fee, etc but anythig to collect the whole amount. We are instructed to coerce the cust into paying for the entire service even if there is nothing wrong with the appliance. We are to sell the service because the women, elderly & most people don't know any better. Sears managers & technicians are quitting. Lambert is going to do like he did K-mart; keep the stock going up & sell all the real estate off & go to the bank with the profits. Sears SUCKS

I purchased a kenmore side by side refrigerator model#5651679100 serial#0288553ac. I have now replaced 2 compressors and noticed tonight 1/6/10 that everything is thawing I have purchased the extended warranty and when you call you are treated like any joe blow off the street there is not any priority status with sears!!! It doesn't matter that this is your third compressor. They can't be here for 2days .. They don't offer rental replacement upfront of your call, and say you didn't give me a chance to tell you!! I was suppose to be on a plane tomorrow morning as my brother had a heart attack on 1/1/10 but I will be here waiting for a call from sears!!! They say if I don"t answer the phone I will have to reschedule!!! I pray my sister-inlaw does not call at the time SEARS DOES, CAUSE I HAVE TO RESCHEDULE APPOINTMENT!!! for repair.. I was told if this happens again they would replace my refrigerator.. That I am told was a LIE!!! I want a NEW REFRIGERATOR I am sick of this magtag, sears, piece of shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh__ __...

My glass top range, model # 790.96011406, eyes cut on by their self and also when you cut them on
they won't cut off without turning off the breaker. This range is about 4 years old. From what I understand
Kenmore/Fridgeadaire has a recall on other models like this one with the same problem but not my model.
They are recalling models back to 2000 with the same problems, so why not mine.
When we called Sears they said they would send somebody out to check it out for $ 125.00

Why should I have to pay for something that is a defect in their product!!!
Evedently they want me purchase another unit from a different manufacture ...because I sure won't buy
one from them (SEARS/FRIDGEADAIRE)!

My refrig went out twice the second time I called Sears out to repair. The tech came to my house and said that there was a $70.00 charge for just coming out and a $70.00 charge for dynosting the the problem. $70.00 to just walk in the door. Something is wrong with this picture. When he arrived the refrig was working because I turned the temp up higher. He said, it's working, I don't see anything wrong. You should invest in our $232.00 plan so this way if I have to come out again, you will not have to pay anything else. My husband the money and now I want to be reimburst for a job that wasn't done or completed. Now we have a freezer that we can't even put food in. I am going to call BBB because this is terrible. Sears shouldn't treat customer the way that they do. Now is not the time to cheat people out of their money.
