I purchased the above vacuum in 3/10. It came with a 1 year warranty. 1 month ago the motor went out, so naturally we took it to Sears at Gwinnett Mall as told by the representative from the 800 # that we called off the cleaner itself.
They inturn had to ship it to the service center in Tucker. We get a call a few days later stating that we owe $88+ for "misuse." When we called to ask what kind of "misuse" they were talking about, we were told that there wasn't a bag attached. We had taken the bag off before taking it, out of courtesy to the technician. When we called several times to get this resolved and let them know we aren't stupid and indeed do not vacuum without a bag, we got the run around.
2 weeks later we have not received a call back from the manager after leaving several messages. I am so extremely upset about this and want my vacuum cleaner fixed and returned to me ASAP!! It is still under warranty and has NOT been misused.
