I started working at sears a few weeks ago I have always liked sears my great grand dads wrench rusted through and the workers got me the same model from ebay I love it they honered even a old old purchase and went above and beyon to get me the same model not a new one. But when I was inteveiwed for the job I was really happy to be hired so people could recive the same service as I had gotten.
However when I started working the cash wrap I learned the dark side my credit is at 700% my rewards cards are a little low only 78% but my coustomer service is 9 out of 10 I've had more cit surveys than most the managers had in there first year because I'm trying my best to please every coustomer I can. My manager yells at me (I mean really yells not just lecture) and calls me names because my rewards aren't 100% (50% is the company goal). They tell us every morning that coustomer service is our #1 and then spend the rest of the day telling us why we can't. I love the job and I feel like if the managers would back off I would do better.
On a seprate note all of the managers have told me to raise my numbers I should instead of asking if they want to join the rewards program (a good program I like a lot) we should just sign them up and I feel like that's. A intrusion of there privacy and I'm fairly sure there's a law against it somewhere. If you know of one PLEASE RESPOND I would love to inhibit this process of privacy intrusion.
Other than the managers being cruel the pay being minimum most of the accociates want to do there best and try as hard as they can to provide good service they can't do all they should because of management but there trying the sears credit is bad though apply for the blue one only it won't hurt your credit but you will get 10$ off your first bit of course never use it the intrest is crazy x.x
