Despicable Customer Service
Sears has no regard for their customer base. On several occasions I've scheduled appt's for my washer to be repaired. They open book, 8am to 5pm, not regarding the customers needs. They don't show up because they overbook, and do not call. Customer service representatives and supervisors clearly don't have the authority to appropriately manage a mismanaged situation. Sears is nothing without their customer base, who in fact built their empire. They do not respect, care or try to remedy concerns of their customers. They arbitraily repond to failures of Sears to meet, respond, and remedy customer issues. They are a large corporation that doesn't care. I want to take my broken washer, and dryer back to Sears and drop it on their doorstep - and may.

Sears will openly lie to you about anything to get you to buy, get you off the phone, get your money, deny your warranty they are so sure you need.T6e5bfhis company's idea of servicing you is not about them bending over backward to please its about bending you over forward.

Craftsman blower and within two months it wouldn't operate for 5 minutes without shutting off
I brought it in to Sears for repair under my warrantee. They called me and said they couldn't warrantee the blower because I didn't use the correct oil/gas mixture. I told them that there was gas still in the blower that could be checked and that I still had gas at home that could be checked.

I was claiming that I had used the correct oil/gas mixture. I had only run the blower about 10 times before I started having the cut off problems. The service department didn't seem to care about my claims of using the correct mixture, only that they were not going to do anything to under warrantee.

I sent them a letter closing out my account and also telling them I would never purchase another product from a Sears store again. They didn't seem to care. If only my blower would blow like Sears.

Customer Service / Refund
I bought tires from sears online tire store on May 24th, the next day they informed me the tires were discontinued. I said fine refund my money. Now it is June 28th and I still have no refund and I WANT MY MONEY RETURNED TO ME. I have talked to the online store and my local retail store every other day for over a month now only to hear the same lie "it looks like it has gone through on this end but I will look into it and get back to you" NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED ME. Sears, I want my money back I need new tires as I have a broken belt that now is to the point I am afraid to drive the car "IT IS DANGEROUS AND I NEED MY MONEY TO PURCHASE NEW ONES" .

Carrier Rebate
Don't fall for Sears salesman!! I purchased an A/C system for my home from Sears after a long spill from a salesman about how Sears is committed to its customers and how you can trust them. It was crap. After way overpaying for the system, they tried to install a cheaper system than I paid for. The worst part is that I was told I would get a 1000$ rebate from Carrier which turns out to be non-existent. Who is helping me with this...no one. Phone calls go unanswered, messages are not returned, emails get no response. Does Sears have a customer service department??? Do yourself a favor and buy from a local company that you can go and talk to in person.

My nightmare started by going to the Sears store at the Town Center Mall in Boca Raton, Fl.I needed a Air cleaning machine(for allergies), and asked for help.A man came over, I told him what I needed, he basically said"you have to read each box".Then another woman came over, said they couldnt plug in any, I would have to buy them, and return if I didnt like it.I left the store.Went online, found the sears outlet website.I didnt know they dont deliver.When the transaction went through, I immedialty emailed(the store is in California, Im in Florida, to cancel.Then I called the # on the website-877-9277957, s/w Elisa-said the system was down.I called 2 hours later-s/w Stacy-she tried calling the store, no contact, she left voicemail.And gave me the # in California to call.The next day Alice from that store called me, said she couldnt credit me, I would have to call Citibank(who issues the card).I order things from every store online, Sears is inept.They should deal with the problem.Today I called the # on the back of the card-s/w Frank, who basically told me I would have to wait for the item to post.I am totally discusted with Sears.How many people do I have to speak to? to resolve this

Lack of service/no show-no call
Had apppointment to get washer repaired. Time frame was between 8-12noon. No call, no show by 12noon. Called customer service to find out where technician was and was informed by Dave "He was running late." The disregard of the customer (me) waiting the full 4 hours with no call what so ever is simply ridiculous. I had rearranged my schedule to be here when I needed to. I have been a long time customer with Sears and feel this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I am now inconvenienced again with my time and now have to pay out to wash my clothes and son's clothes at laundramat is unexceptable. ...This added expense and time really irritates me even more. This could have all been handled by a simple curtosy phone call. Is that too much to ask? I work in customer service and you obviously did not provide this today. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and lack of concern of my time.

Hope this is addressed and handled in a timely manner.

I applied online for a Fulltime position. I arrived early for my interview. They seemed to be dissatisfied with this . The manger introduced himself and said that I was early and would have to wait. This was fine because I was. A young lady called me in never told me her name or position. The interview was horrible. She asked nothing about my sales experience or anything. I respectfully complimented her and she rolled her eyes.Instead of being respectful and confident. I have over 15years management experience and I believe they sent out a CSR to interview me due to lack of being organized. She told me within less than a minute that they did not hire FULLTIME that they only hired PART TIME????? I would have never applied for a part time position . I could not believe that my app was not taken more seriously and the fact that they did not try to sell themselves as a company or anything . I was more of pls sit down what hours are you looking for and we only hire part time .OMG!!! She saw my eye brows raise and said well...should I go on or is this interview over. Wow!!!(OVER!!!) I can not imagine what customer service is like there . I guess they want to keep their own job security... by running out the advancer.

3 clerks standing around and 1 customer (me) - and between the three of them, they couldnt ring up a sale at the right price! - What's happened to this store? Sears used to be a step above the other big box stores. Not anymore. Hire the bottom of the barrel and your store becomes "bottom of the barrel". See you at Wal-mart (wish I had a better choice...)

HVAC Service
Sears Home Improvement scheduled an all day appointment 8-5, to service my HVAC. The technician did not show up. When I called to inquire about the technician, I was told they do not service my area or this part of the country for that matter. I scheduled the appointment on June 9 for the service call for June 23, the company issued a memo on June 14 that they no longer had a technician in this area or this part of the country any longer. NO ONE CALLED TO CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT. I lost a days wage!!! Do they care? Absolutely not. I will never shop at Sears or any of their affiliates ever again.
