Order not received
I would like to lodge a complaint. I ordered some shoes and only gotten 3 of 4 pairs and I request the 4th pair and got really the run around about when they would get to me. I ordered them on the 3 Dec 2010 and have not received the 4th pair as of this date 23 Dec 2010. I returned 2 of the 3 pair back to the store and one of the clerks was very nice about it and gave me my money back for the 2 pair. I was put on the phone and spoke with someone about the 4th pair, I was told they would let somebody know I never got them because they never shipped them. So I acted in good faith and said I would again wait to get them. Well I wanted to give them as a Christmas gift and well to my suprise, Sears was not trustworthy to get my order to me after a whole month! I am to say the least, pissed off, but I am trying to work it out. I have never had a company lage as Sears not be able to go beyond the call of duty and help the people that shop with them. I was not given my shipping money (about $25.00)on the order and shipping was suppose to be free! Well the shoes was purchased and paid for at the Gainesville Sears. They took my money for the shoes on my debit card. After inquiry after inquiry, I was only given a different answer by email. At this point I will not be shopping at Sears anymore. For a mear $103 or so dollars, Sears couldn't deliver. I will send you my receipt below and if you like I will send you all the email telling me lies about why they haven't sent my shoes..:

As I stated I returned 2 pairs of the shoes and kept 1 pair in good faith...I received $36 for the 2 pair and a hope and a prayer for the last 4th pair that they didn't send. here's the email I sent to them about the shoes:

I have not received the shoes I ordered below and when will I get them? You sent the note below that I enlarged, what's going on with the shoes? I ordered them on 3 Dec 2010, but here it is 21 Dec 2010, and I have not gotten them yet. Please expedite my order, I need to give them as a Christmas gift and you are holding me up from doing so. BAD customer service, BAD online experience
I placed an online order for a toaster oven at the end of November. My payment was debited immediately. I was offered ShipVantage as a free trial offer and I accepted. I received an online confirmation that my order was accepted and that with ShipVantage the toaster oven would ship in 3 - 4 days. That was November 29, 2010. Today is December 23, 2010 and still no toaster oven. Since the 6th of December I've been emailing and calling customer service to find out the status of my order. Each person I contact will not/can not give me an answer. No one seems to know where my order is, when it will get to its destination, no one can give me a tracking number, and from my online confirmations and verbal confirmations my order seems to have shipped on at least 3 different days. The longer I deal with this company the more frustrated I get. I've been looking at other people's comments and wish I would have researched complaints agains Sears before I went online to place my order. Take a look at their company profile, their company headquarters information, the people at the top who control the company and see for yourself ... Sears does not seem to be in the customer satisfaction business any longer. They do seem to have a heck of a beautiful headquarters and other business ventures all over the place though. Hmmmmm. At any rate, I do not have any intentions of ever stepping foot into a brick-and-mortar Sears store again, nor do I intend to make the mistake of purchasing anything online from Sears ever again. I am not a valued customer. And neither are you!

Customer Service
I recently purchase an item at the Sears tools department. After my purchase, I was told to register my Protection Plan Online and it was easy and simple. The gentleman cashier underlined the 'needed' information, for when it was time to register my Protection. I thanked him and was on my way.
This morning, I tried to register my Protection Plan.. Online, @ searspurchaseprotect.com I followed all the step in making an account with the Protection site, in order to input my reciept information. Three [3] times it told me my information could not be found. Immedately I called the Sears where I purchased my item, to ensure that they had indeed put my Protection on my Item I had purchased. Without friendly help, the first gentleman I spoke with, cut me short of my explaination [after he had asked me how he could help. He didn't let me answer...] I was in the middle of my answer of how he could help, when he just puts me on hold. I of course called back and this time asked to speak to the manager. The lady that answered explained it was 'busy' there and wondered if she could help. I explained that I wanted to speak to a Manager, and finally but hesitatedly let me speak with. That manager was eager to get off the phone with me, without a true customer service of letting me speak, one of the rude Customer Service I had just recieved, and two in trying to then relate my original question about my Protection. Finally after, asking her to stop interupting me and just let me ask my questions, she tells me that the cashier last night was mistaken and I could not register my item until 48 hrs after purchase... She instantly told me, that she could be of no help, and that I should call the Protection Customer Service. After she rudely hung up [again before I could speak] I called the Protection Plan Customer Service.
When I spoke with a Michael, he jokely [as he laughed] told me it wasn't even neccessary to register my plan, for it registers automatically after 48 hrs. So after wasting an hour on trying to recieve help on this, it was for nothing. I asked to speak with a manager and he refused to allow me to speak with one. I will never again purchase a Protection plan with Sears. I intend on reurning the product to the store which I had bought it from...and not do service with them again. That is how strongly I felt about the whole situation. And when they ask, I will mention all of this...
Sears never use to be this way, I don't know if that people just don't have the time to take care of the customers anymore, but I know, with all the other stores that wants us to shop in them. People with money to spend, want to spend that money, where the Customer Service comes first. Why waste money on a heartache of dealing with rude people?

Treadmill mishap
I purchased my husband a treadmill as a Christmas gift from the Sears located inside Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, MI on December 11, 2010. It was supposed to have been delivered and assembled on December 15, 2010. It was delivered, but not assembled because it was broken. So, we had to reschedule to have another one delivered and assembled for December 21, 2010 and was told that I would be receiving a gift certificate in the mail for 10% off my next purchase with Sears within 7-10 business days which I have yet to receive on December 15, 2010. It was delivered, but not assembled because the driver told my husband that they were running behind and did not have time to assemble the product. I then called the 1-800 number to complain where I was told that I would be receiving a 70.00 refund for the assembly that we paid for and someone would be out today, December 22, 2010 to assemble the product. Today, no one was available to come out and I was also told that we were not getting our 70.00 refund that we were told that we will be getting in the mail within 7-10 business days. I am VERY unhappy with the service of Sears and will NEVER shop there again for anything nor will I recommend anyone to buy anything as expensive as this treadmill either. I would like to have the 70.00 refunded to me as stated on yesterday. So who do I speak with about this?

Visited store tuesday dec 21st, 2010. Auto dept. Sales staff very helpful in locating dog bone wrench. Rang up and was told they were not on sale. The price was 24.95. Ran out to car and retrieved tuesdays sears ad. Advertised for 14.95. Called dept. mgr. for override which did not seem to be a problem. Dept. mgr. informed me the ad was not til wednesday. But he agreed to discount to 19.95 which was a previous sale price. I stated that the register had it for 24.95. and neither 19.95 or 14.95 according to him and the computer were not valid prices although I had todays ad in my hand. He proceeded and told me 19.95 today or I could come back tomorrow and purchase it for 14.95. I told him I was unhappy with the situation and left without any further shopping at that location. I was prepared to purchase 2 wrenches and a 22" hd tv that was advertised. Sadly Your dept. mgr. failed his service dept test in common sense, smiling and customer comes first training.

Knowingly Selling Air Hockey Tables with missing parts
Purchased air hockey table from Sears.

Found that it was missing two parts that are necessary to keep the table stable.

Called store. They opened up two other boxes to get parts for me.

As it turns out, these two sets didn't have the parts either.

They have other sets and will continue to sell these sets, knowing that 3 out of 3 have missing parts. Yet I'm still missing the parts. I explained that parts are required to keep the table stable.

Also left manufacturer several messages and still have not heard back.

Still have not heard back from Sears. They were to call me back but have not done so.

Poor installation and customer service
I bought a garage door opener and installation at Sears in Jefferson City, Mo on Nov. 12, 2010. The installer did not install a new chain, frame, and linkage. He used my old ones, in which he took with him. The safety sensors were improperly installed on top of the unit near the ceiling. He stated that would cost an additional $40.00. My garage door would not close. When a finally got another technician to come out a week later all he could do is tell me it was improperly installed. Week three into this fiasco after multiple attempts in calling their "customer service" I spoke with the store's manager. Nothing was ever fixed. A week later I ask for my money back and disinstall the half of the product and the manager at the local Sears in Jefferson City, Jay, was very rude. He kept my receipt and I had to call Jefferson City Police dept to retrieve it. Customer service is a JOKE at Sears! I will no longer ever shop at a Sears, KMart, American Eagle ever again and I will make sure that I spread the word so no one else becomes a victim of their horrible service!

Online shopping & delivery
We did our Xmas shopping online Nov 29th (Black Monday) hoping to save ourselves money and time and ended up with a major headache from dealing with the Sears online website. My wife spent over 3 hours shopping on their site and completed the order but the order was never processed. We waited close to 2 weeks before we called and asked about our order which they informed us never processed because they're having problems with their system. They assured us that it would go through and that we would receive our stuff before Xmas. Well, its less than a week until Xmas and still no gifts so I guess we're stuck going out and buying them staright out of a store (that should be fun) now. Sears online shopping blows and their custumer service is even worst. I definitely wont miss them when they go out of business...good riddens!

over charged
i called sears to have a service man fix my garage remotes technician#0022178 showed up when i called i was told a service charge of $60.00 was the cost. the service man said i needed a new logic board. when he told me the cost i said i can buy a new opener for $139.00 and he said but you only get a 6o day gaurntee so i said can i put this on my card as i live on a fixed income. and this would take all my money i saved to buy christmas presents . he said yes after putting in a new logic board he said i needed a new remote. since i have two cars i bought 2 $26.00 remotes for $52.00 apeice a logic board wich is $110.00 i was charged $141.38 then the labor went from $60.00 to $141.00 for 20 minutes work. then he said he needed a check or cash as his computer was down and he coudnt run my card
