SEARS AT NORTHLAKE Has BAD EMPLOYEES

Bad employees
When I arrived to the Sears store I was greeted by a man named Lloyd, later I found that as I was browsing around the store all three of the male employees including Lloyd were surrounding the store computer that sits right beside the appliances in the middle of the store. They were looking at nude pictures and discussing meeting up with women online..I found this appauling. I was so distubed that I said nothing and then left and went next door to Oreck. When I was coming out of Oreck I found that Lloyd and the other male employee were in a parked car out front of Sears and it appeared that they were smoking marijuana in the parked car. I will never go back to this store again! Someone needs to do something about this and drug test there employees!!!

Rebate Card
I too received a $75 Citi rebate from Sears for purchasing over $1000 in applicances. I tried to use the card today at Sears and it would not work! I was told by the clerk to call the 800 number on the back of the card or go to the website. I went to the website and tried to register; I got a message that told me I had to call customer service. I used www.prepaid.citi.com/sears. Next I tried calling the customer service number on back of the card and could not reach a human being! My next step is to file a complaint with the NY State Attorney Generals Office. I can't believe an organization like Sears would get involved with Citi Corp and these rebate cards -- what a disaster -- what happened to just issuing a check!

interview
I put in an applicationn to work for sears, and it has been the worste thing I have ever expierenced. I went in for an interview the 1st time, and they said there is no one here that can interview you. They didnt even call untill it was time for the interview as I was walking into the department. They asked me to come back. Not to mind you that Ive driven 20 miles to get here. So i come in for the 2nd interview. I go back downstairs to there department. I tell them that I was scheduled for an interview. They sat there and looked dumb founded. The manger that was supposed to interview me say she has a conference i cant interview you today. So why did you make me waste my time and my money? money is hard to come by now days and all you can say is come back another day. Why would i want to waste more time when you didnt interview me 2 times. like i said i have to drive 2o miles to get there and 20 to get back home. So my advice to people is not to even try to work for sears the peopl that work there are very mean cranky and careless. They dont even appoligize for wasting yur time or money.

gennerator not working
I brought a gnerator From Sears On 4/15/2010 Sale ticket #o21099825 it was a floor model and it was advertise as a discontinue item. I paid $900. for it. I only got to use it for 3 months after I got it from the store. They had it for 3 months working on it to get it fix. I call and every time I would get a different answer on the gernerator. Whem I pick it up I was told I would get a manual on the generator. Never recevice one. The last converaton I had with the store manager was the I never brought the generator at their store. I am mad because this generator was to be a new one not one that was use. I told them to find me another one like that generator. Nothing has come of it. Now this generator that suppose to be new dead as a door nail. I spent a chunk of change and have no generator at all. No Help from Sears at all. I want this fix. Mike

Home installation
Sears home installation (of garage door opener) TOTAL RIPOFF. They botched the job (June '10), then the installer (who is just a sub contractor, which they did not tell me upfront) threatened to remove the opener when he made a mess and broke the inside opener button. Repeated calls, and two months later, someone showed up to look at it (didn't bring tools). Then they refused to take my calls until late September, when a very rude 3rd installer showed up, went inside my home, disconnected the wiring and after 5 hours said 'I need an electrician to look at this". I was told to get my own estimates, then not to. They sent an electrician pal of Guy #3 (not a Sears employee), who spent another 4 hours, made things worse, then said he'd be back to run a new line out to the garage. Never showed up. 5 phone calls later, he tells me "They told me not to fix your problem". Two dozen phone calls to Sears and now the "head of customer service" says that it was ME who refused to let him repair stuff, filed a bunch of phony reports, and says now "The case is settled!' and they refuse to fix anything. I guess they are double daring me to drag them into small claims court. This was a disaster from day one. I will NEVER set foot in that crooked store again as long as I live. What a disgrace!

Headache
And I thought Verizon had the worst customer service boy was I wrong. I placed an order online for a queen mattress box spring and frame plus a bed cover. Delivery was due on Saturday of the next week so on Friday my trash truck comes and I trashed my old mattress and box spring. I got the items on sale almost 50% off and I thought it was a great deal. Friday evening I called to find out a time frame for which the items would show and they told me my items were canceled due to the credit card being declined. I have a sears credit card with a limit of over 5 grand and the items were no where close to the limit. I was never contacted that the items weren't coming and they kept on giving me the run around. The sale had ended by then and they didn't honor the original pricing because it was a cc decline, it gets better they did manage to charge me 111.05 for delivery though. I called and they said it was non refundable asked to speak to a manager and customer service rep kept on saying that over and over again, till he finally hung up. I will NEVER shop from them AGAIN.

Not honoring Ad
Would not Honor a Black Friday November 26, 2010 Ade. I went in to purchase a Tool Box at 50% off $699.98 as it stated in the Ade.
The Assotiate, Department Manager and Store Manager all told me that the ade was incorrect and I was reading it incorrectly. I dont really care if the ade was wrong you should honor what the ade said.
The Ade stated that you would get 50% off $699.98 if you purchase both peice of the toolbox. If sears would like to now make good on the ad here is my email - [email protected].

thanksgiving day "no doorbuster"
Walking in I tell my wife that" I liked shopping at sear .They always got the a alot of the doorbusters." We get in and about 25 people are there . I get in line. No one at the reagiter . the worker is at a coumpter off to the one side helping someone . As I stand there I hear that the thing I came for is gone .That the frist person(at the coumpter) in line was after the netbook I was to, and they did not have it in the store. They were seeing if it was on line . It was not. As I was waiteing, I here from a worker " We had 5 of them, but we sold them yesterday. we do not have anymore." I had drove 45min. to get there .To be at you'r store when the doors opened . I under stand if I missed out becouse I was not frist, but to not have them in the store at all was just wrong .I am not happy with sears, and I will not be after your doorbuster sales again.

Oven and dishwasher
I bought a Sears convection oven and dishwasher 5 years ago. The oven still works but does not cook evenly and has two strange white streaks running down the glass window. The dishwasher had to be repaired within a few months. Before the warranty was up, the entire computer panel had to be replaced. The upper drawer broke and then the water valve flooded, ruining my wood floor. Dont ever buy Sears products.

Diversity
My subject is Diversity, Does a 17 yr old who is in remission with cancer qualify as diverse??????? My son works for Sears in the Mall in Florence Ky. He has for quite some time, yes he is a cancer survivor. he was dignosed with Leukemia, in 2002. His name isBbrady Curtis and apparently he wont speak up for himselp, but I hismother will. My son does not call in ever...maybe 2x in a year. He is sick quite often, apparently when they call him in on his days off, he tells them no often because he is sick... In return they schedule him 3 hours a week. This coming week he has been scheduled NO hours. What seems to be the problem?????? I think they are treating my son differently than they do others whom work there. I am not happy, not sure what my next step will be, But New hires get more hours than him and some of the management are quite rude. My son has been thru enough, I want something done now or Im going to be talking to someone else. Cheryl Curtis. Thank You
