I will never ever shop with your company again
I ordered 2 gift cards in the amount of $150.00 on December 14, 2006 customer service said that i would have it in time for christmas. Today I received an e-mail stating they would not be here in time for the holiday! False advertisement on there website stating they would arrive in time for the holidays, I am really upset one of the gift cards is for my nephew who is leaving to go back into the service, what a nice gift that would have made if I received it on time. I will never ever shop with your company again. My husband is a lawyer and can not believe how rude your customer serivce department is. i wanted to cancel my order and have it expedited they told they couldnt do that. After receiving a gift card from Target in no time!!!

Highly overpriced products
On Nov. 25th. I went to the sears parts center on thompson lane in nashvill, tn. to purchase a replacement bulb for my over the stove micro-wave . they told me the bulbs were $11.49 each! it takes 2 the only thing special about these bulbs was the base is a med. smaller than a standard bigger than a night light size.you can get this at home depot or wal-mart for a high intensity lamp for under $2.00 I kept asking what was so special about this bulb to cost that much. the bottom line was only they made it a med. base to make you spend $11.49 and have to get it from them!

Rude
Bought an appliance and was due a rebate for delivery costs. Several weeks later received a debit card insead of a check. Ran into problems at local stores who wanted my pin number to use a debit card.

Talked to the store "manager" who basically told me it was my problem and the pin number might have been in the paper work in the envelope snd I should always keep any thing I am sent. I told them I would spend the money there and was told they do not take debit cards.

A man came out and said little more execpt he wished the company did not give rebates and again it was my problem.

crapcustomer serv
they just replqaced the main board on fridge now it is shot.. my wife died 5 days ago and i have 9 kids under the age of 18 and they tell me it will be a freaking week and 1/2 before they can come out i go through 2 gallons of milk per day, i have tons of food left over from the funeral and they cant make some sort of exception? crap for service and crap for searas products

Credit Care Interest
Watch out. I have a $1700.00 balance on my Sears account and was charged 25.24% interest of $350.00. Reason, I puchased something sometime ago and did not pay if off in the time alloted. The free interest period ran out. I called and asked about and was told in so many words 'sorry' nothing we can do.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
NEVER SHOP AT SEARS!!! I certainly will never buy anything there again! Sears has no customer service!! I purchased a new washer/ dryer set. (Mind you, they had to price match the items I chose because they were $200 more expensive than Lowe's!!!) They sent me a defective machine so had to take the machine back. I called to reschedule the delivery appointment and called everyday until my appointment to see when they would come. The day before they were supposed to arrive I had called them again because no one called me with the 2 hour window that they would come to deliver the appliances. That's when I found out that they cancelled my order. No one spoke to me, I never gave them any authorization to do so, but they just don't care. The delivery department kept apologizing and told me to go back to the store to reorder. That's it. They just don't care!!

I went back to the store the next day and the store manager tried to help me talk to the delivery department. Again, nothing. The machines I originally purchased is back ordered for 30-45 days. Great! I spent over 2 hours at the store trying to find another machine in the same price range because Sears will only cover a $100 difference. Of course the only other machine they had was about $400 more than what I paid and they won't cover it. Basically, my options are to add $400 to get the more expensive machines or wait a month or more for my machines to come in or just go to another store and start my search all over. I'm so furious!! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE!!!

Rebate
I purchased a Craftsman mower for $1, 700 with a rebate of $65.
I received a Citi Mastercard with a 12 month time limit to use all of the money and with a 3% monthly maintainence fee.
The fine print includes a method to opt out of the debit card and receive a check, however I am unable to find the option on-line and the telephone automaton does not address the opt-out feature. I am unable to speak to a human in the Customer Service Department, or an operator.
I am led to believe that the opt-out feature is a scam.

Wrongful termination/harassment
I was a beyond loyal employee to Sears Holdings for about 3 years. I was so loyal that I pratically had Sears tatooed on my forehead and I even got my boyfriend a job there.

I was wrongfully terminated from the meadows mall store in Las Vegas. Their claim was that I had filled out a fradulent time punch.

I had worked for a previous Sears in Colorado for 2 years and had a blast! I loved the people, I loved the company, the policies, the dedication and overall I loved my job and the corperation. That all changed when I transferred the the Meadows store in July of 2009. I entered unknowingly into a high risk store that had a turn over rate that was so high that I never even bothered to say hello the the new hire ons because I knew they would be terminated in a months time.

There were two female employees, one my HR and the other my ASM who did nothing but harass and bully me the WHOLE year I was in the store. It was so bad that I would go to work crying because I was hat miserable.

I made numerous complaints to the LP and to my supervisors with no action being taken to stop the abuse. I was being ignored and accused of things left and right, and written up it seemed like on a weekly basis. I called the ethics lines until the phone melted it was that bad.

Now I wasn't a troule employee, I had a squeeky clean record in my other store and had nothing but perfect references for my preformance. Even in this hell hole store in Las Vegas, my preformance was always above and beyong company standards and I recieved praise from my immediate supervisor on a regular basis, but when it came to me needing to speak to him about the two girls' behavior towards me I always got the 'uh-huh I will look into it' speech and it never happened.

These girls went as far as to trying to break up me and my boyfriend ((mind you we live together and moved together to las vegas)) It was so bad that my boyfriend's manager even went up and litterally got into screaming matches with the two girls and other managers about leaving me alone. They were claiming that he was beating me, which was deffinately false. But thatwas just the begginings of my problems.

After about a whole year of the abuse and harassment and ridiculous write-ups and threats, the two girls had a major altercation with me and stated that I needed to stop calling the ethics line and complaining. I had asked if we could have a sit down talk to discuss the matters and the issues the two seemed to have with me, and they denied me that and said I would not be talking to 'anyone anytime about anyone's behavior'

Three days later I was terminated, they stated that I filled out a fradulent time on a punch correction. When I called the LP to review the time and dates of my entering and leaving the store, they told me the cameras were off by 1-4 mins. I was terminated over 4 minuets, and that 4 mins cant even be calidated because the cameras are off by 1-4 mins.

After weeks of calling the HR and ethics lines to have this termination looked into, the response I recieved was that the company as a whole would not re-employ me since the paper work submitted by the HR girl who was harassing me was already reviewed and decided that I would be terminated even though no one bothered to call me or sit down with me to talk about the alligations to find out what was going on.

I asked if work place retaliation was considered, and what about the harrassment and all the issues I had had with the girls, and I was told there is no law in NV that protects employees against harassment unless is was pysical and violent.

What a crack of crap right?

And when I asked about the fact that I was terminated after the fact that the HR girl told me to stop calling ethics, and that to me that was retaliation, they stated that since she had filed the paper work that day to terminate me, there was nothing to be done.

So what about my rights?? What about my voice as an employee? Am I forced day in and day out to be subject to the name calling, the finger pointing and absolutely ridiculous rumors two manager girls put me through?? In the end, to be terminated because I refused to quit?

So now I have lost my apartment and my boyfriend and I are about to lose our car, all because two females decided to play 'let's pick on her cause we don't like her and we will see if we can force her to quit, and if not, then we will find some boguss excuse to fire her'

Obviously Sears does not protect their employees from work place retaliatoin or harrassment. It saddens me to look at it this way because I loved the company that much and enjoyed my job every day, but te truth is, sears doesn't protect their employees.

So now that I have been wrongfully termiated, I cannot claim unemployment, and I have lost jsut about everything. I am only 19 years old and my employment record is permanantly destroyed and has a mark saying that I time frauded a company. Lies lies...

Im planning to go to the media about the whole thing, it's wrong. And maybe their should be a law about harassament and creating a hostle working enviornment.

Awful after sale service
Three years ago I buy washer, dryer, and a refrigerator.with master protection plan.sadly I had to call repair center three times .All the times they schedule a week later for a beginning .when my washing machine needs to part, it took 2 weeks for them to come.I am tired of waiting. finally at the last time they cancel my appointment by them self, without my permission.I waited all day that day.Is this just me, or are the things go like this . I don`t know. Repairs was good though.
