Sears online fails to deliver
I ordered online, for home delivery the Premier 36 in. Jumbo GearBox on 21 June 2009. I was given the Expected Arrival Date of 9 July.
On 8 July, I was called by Sears 3 times to let me know that delivery would be on 10 July, instead of on the 9th. On the 10th, the driver called me in the morning and said it would be delivered at approximately 0930. He then called me around the estimated delivery time and said that the item was not ready to be loaded, but he had to make another morning delivery and that he would deliver it in the afternoon instead.
At 1600 on the 10th, after not hearing from Sears again regarding the delivery, I called the Sears office that had called me regarding the change in delivery date. After a long wait, I was finally told that my item was not in stock at that location and that they could either re-order for me or cancel my order. I requested that my order be canceled.
Three major issues:
1) The online ordering system was clearly faulty and failed to ensure that my item was on hand for delivery as promised.
2) The customer representatives were quick to call multiple times to reassure me that the item would be delivered, but failed to call me to inform me that it was not available for delivery. The latter is more important.
3) This all adds up to a lousy customer experience. I will not do business with Sears again. I was in the process of upgrading my garage with the "Gladiator" brand materials, but since they are also available at Lowes, there is no need for me to go through this experience again.
I'm now waiting to see how long it takes Sears to credit back to my card the purchase cost.

We were treated badly by Sears and lied to
We bought a refrigerator from Sears in 2005. On Monday, July 6 this refrigerator stopped working. We called Sears about getting some one to fix our refrigerator. They said your warrenty is out, so you will have to pay for repairs. We paid $260 for repair service and 1 year extended warrenty. We were told a repair person would be at our home on Tuesday, July 7. After waiting most of the day, we called Sears to find out where the repair person was. We were then told the repair person would not be coming to our house until the following week on July 14. I don't know about anyone else but we needed our refrigerator repaired now, not in a week. Needless to say they gave us the run around on the phone. We asked for our money back. We lost all the food in the refrigerator. Now we are going to have to buy a new refrigerator. This refrigerator was less than 5 years old and should not have stopped working. We were treated badly by Sears and lied to. When we called customer service to complain, they were insincere about the whole thing and told us to file a claim on our home owners insurance. This is not how you do business and this in not how you treat customers. I am telling everyone that I come in contact with how bad Sears treated us, and to not buy anything from Sears.

Still have not received other pair of sunglasses
On Sat. 20 June 2009 I purchased 2 pairs of progressive lens glasses - 1 pair of sunglasses that are in the store and the other pair haven't arrived due, so I am told, due to a lab error with anti-reflective coating. It is now July 8. I've been told that they might be in next week! Meanwhile the 90 day warranty is ticking. Call customer service @ 1.800.549.4505 to register your complaint and get the issue registered with Sears and their lab.

Employees and manager does not care about the customers
I was in Sears at the LaVale, Maryland location with about $100.00 worth of Craftsman tools in my hand. I needed 2 metal toolboxes and asked the associate to please open the box so I could look at the toolbox since there were none on display. The associate refused saying that they were not allowed to open any boxes. I went to the store office and spoke to the store manager. To my surprise, the manager sided with the associate and refused to open a box with a simple toolbox in it so I could look at it. I told him there was no difference opening the box now or me buying and returning it. He still refused. My point is, if this is Sears customer policy, I will shop elsewhere. I put down all the tools I had in front of the manager and told him that he just lost my business. I went to Lowe's accross the street and purchased Colbalt brand tools and two toolboxes. Because of this incident, I will never, ever buy from Sears again and I am sure telling every person I come accross about my bad experience at Sears. It is a shame that the employees and managers at Sears could care less about the customers. Had they opened a simple box for a customer, they would have had a $180.00 sale. Now they lost a customer for life.

tires for bmw 525i
I bought 2 tires for my BMW 525i in march 21 2009 from Palm Beach Sears. And I had a noise from the tire after one year . I went to Sears in Boynton Beach because palm Beach Sears was closed business. I explained the situation about tires worn out and make noise while I drive 40 miles per hour. I talked to the Manager Dana Taylor and explained to Him. He said I have no warrenty although it says it has 60000 miles warrenty. he told me your tire is bad because your suspension is bad. I told him I can prove that my car suspension is good. He was very rude behavior and not resfect for customer. I thought I was treated very poorly and I felt very upset. I dont think Dana Taylor is qulified manager for auto center. I hope you can response me as soon as possible.
I attached original receipt.

Shoddy practices
I am trying to let Kmart and Sears and Craftsman know that I do not appreciate the way I was treated and I have written to the Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau and Howard Ain, the trouble shooter for channel 12, to let them know about your shoddy practices and to see if Kmart can be charged with consumer fraud.

Was treated in terrible way
I wanted to let Sears know that I have sent letters to the Attorney General, The Better Business Bureau, and to Howard Ain the trouble shooter, to let them know about the way I was treated at your store in Chillicothe, Ohio today. Since I can't successfully get an address to write a letter I am left to use the inyrtnet.

delivery
I Just bought a new freezer from Sears and had a delivery date, when the freezer came it was damaged so I refused delevery. The delivery man called and told them what was wrong, and gave me the phone. I told them the freezer was damaged and I did not want and wanted a new one delevered right away. I had to wait another 4 days for delivery. Meanwhile the food I had taken out of my old freezer spoiled and I lost over $300. in frozen food.
First of all I find it very offensive that I have to speak to someone thousands of miles away in a foreign country that hardly speak english, and try to explain to them what I want! Second I think Sears should reimburse me for the food I lost because they sent a damaged freezer!

I will never buy another Sears item and am making it my life goal to tell everyone I know
On April 25, 2009 I called Sears Repair Center because the dishwasher at my mother's home was not working. My mother passed away on April 24, 2009 so I was extremely busy planning her funeral. My mother had been a customer of Sears for 60 years and has always purchased her major appliances there plus she always paid for extended warranties. The customer service rep made an appointment for April 27 between 8am and 12pm. Since I was planning my mothers burial, I made arrangements for a friend to take off work to be at the property between 8 and 12. At 12:01 pm "Gilbert" called to advise me that he was "overbooked" and would not be able to make it that day. I immediately called Sears 800 number and explained to them that I needed them to come out today. At 1:30pm Gilbert arrived, took one look at the dishwasher and said he needed to order "a soapdispenser". The problem was not the soap dispenser--the problem was it was not going through the cycles. He did not even bother to check it running the cycles! I was told that when the part came in, we could call for another appointment. The part arrived on April 30, 2009. Since I live in Washington state and my mother lives in California, my daughter-in-law made an appointment for Friday, May 8, between 8 am and 12 pm. She gave them her cell number so they could reach her directly since the phone at my mothers residence was now disconnected except for messages. At 11:50 am Gilbert left a message on my mom's telephone number that he would not be able to make it because he was "overbooked" My daughter-in-law called him, insisted that he needed to come as soon as possible. He said he could be there around 1:30 pm. At 3:45 pm Gilbert called my daughter-in-law and stated he was about 5 minutes away. She had already left the house and said she would reschedule. She called to reschedule again for Wednesday, May 13 between 8 am and 12pm. Guess what? At 12:30 pm Gilbert called (again) and stated that he would not be able to make it. Sears has now wasted 12 hours of our time. We have not heard from them in regards to this or any type of apology. I will never buy another Sears item and am making it my life goal to tell everyone I know.
