Three complaints in a row
The first complaint was a stove we purchased at Sears.
It came without all the parts and damaged, took months to get that straightened out, then the window
blinds, they neglected to send the two small ones, took months to fix that, today the parts for our riding
lawnmower came, and guess what, all the wrong parts.
The woman insisted the parts were for a push lawn
mower when in fact we had two spark plugs, a huge
filter too large for our riding mower, two quarts of oil,
oil filter, and the belt was so thin for the mower it
would not have lasted more than an hour or so.
We are returning it, guess what three more months
of trouble. NO MORE ORDERS FROM SEARS FOR US
My husband insisted the parts was for a riding mower
that was larger than ours. We had given them the
correct model numbers. Where do they get these
people from??????? Someone needs to train them.
Let this be a lesson to others, BEWARE OF ORDERS
FROM SEARS, from a person who has learned the hard way.

They are practicing false advertising and taking my money for a product they do not intend to deliver
On 4/11/09 a Sears2Go.com ad came out listing a 1468pc. tool set and storage combo model # CO505 for $494.99. On 4/13/09, the last day of the sale I tried unsuccessfully to buy it for this price. I was told it was an error and the price would not be honored. On 4/14/09 the price on Sears2Go.com was changed to $549.99. I emailed them to see if this was another mistake but got no response. On 4/15/09 I tried again to buy it but they would not deliver on the price. I contacted PriceMatch Sears who said they would not honor the price. On 4/15/09 I received an email from PriceMatch that stated after reviewing my emails they determined a Sears2Go pricing error occurred. They apologized and instructed me to place my order, respond to the email with the confirmation number, and a price adjustment would be made honoring the ad. After placing my order on 4/16/09 and emailing them back I received another email on 4/17/09 stating the order had been cancelled and the offer had been retracted. However, as of 4/18/09 my money has not been returned. They stated pricing errors were rare and unintentional but posting 5 different prices on that web site in one week is not rare and emailing me stating I could buy it at this price was not unintentional. They are practicing false advertising and taking my money for a product they do not intend to deliver.

Rude-Nasty Attitude
Today, April6, 2011, I took off work to wait for Sears to once again deliver to my home my new refrigerator. The delivery guys were rude, unfriendly Hispanic guys. One of them walked into my home reading a religious tract that he found on my door. Yes, he actually walked through my living room, dining room and then stood in the kitchen as he proceeded to read the religious tract that was in Spanish and ignoring me as the customer. They refused to bring my refrigerator into the house because I (a female) did not know how to put a valve on the old refrigerator. He then called his supervisor and lied on me and said that I was refusing to accept my refrigerator. I said I wanted to speak with his supervisor and he handed me his cell phone. The supervisor tried to offer me a 10% coupon to calm down; what did she think that I need a 10% constellation prize for the Sears Delivery employees’ nasty lying attitudes. Sears has completely gone downhill!! And to make matters even worse, these unprofessional delivery guys took drove in the truck with my refrigerator – leaving me in the street screaming for them to give me my refrigerator. I am sickly and cannot continue to deals with these problems from Sears. I am so disappointed with Sears that I have made it my job to let everyone know about the horrible experiences I have been having with Sear for the past two months.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT
I have a online profile Sears.com and have ordered numerous times through this website. I had similar problem prior, thought it may have been a isolated occurrence, it happened again. I ordered 2 ipad 32gb @300.00 as advertised on sears.com, paid with paypal option. Paypal has my shipping address (confirmed), and have seller protection provided they ship to address on paypal payment. Verification department from Sears called the next and they were provided the same information as on paypal but it seems like sears.com just wanted to find a way to cancel the order because they did not have the item to fulfill. I told the obnoxious verification person, who would not give me his name that I can go to the Sears store and have them verify whatever they want to verify and not cancel the order, guess what ? they cancelled the order. I called customer service at sears.com and they said they will reinstate the order and I will need to pay with another credit card besides paypal. I said okay, go ahead and I will give them a new credit card number. Could not complete order because of course they did not have any in stock and but for $80.00 more they will sell me the similar item. What a scam... Sears.com ought to be ashamed of themselves. I will try to call their headquarters @ 847-286-2500, although I do not expect much from them. I have filed complaint with FTC for false advertising.

refund
I purchased a zero gravity chair through Sears.com. The chair was shipped by the vendor and received in a reasonable time frame. I assembled the chair and was not happy with it. I called customer service and was told the vendor would issue a pick up in 5 working days This was the middle of March 2011. I waited for the vendor to issue the pick up but it never happened. I constantly called customer service and each time I was told they would look into the problem and they would be back in touch in 3-5 working days. I finally had enough and got the phone number for their executive offices. I spoke with customer account executive and he finally got the vendor to react and issue a pick up. The chair was returned. I am still waiting for a refund of my $825.36. I keep getting the run around each time I call .The latest was a problem issuing a refund to PayPal. I don't know when or if I will get a refund but Sears .com gets my vote for the Number 1 worst customer service organization. I would be happy to join a class action against these shysters. DON'T BUY SEARS.Com

fridge purchase
Purchased a fridge a week ago due to be delivered 5/12. On 5/11 I get a call from the warehouse/delivery men saying the fridge isn't here, "Did I pick it up?". It was to arrive at my home and be installed! After talking to 5 other people that day both at sears.com and warehouse I was only put on hold and got no answer. The actual local stores told me they couldn't help or access online orders at all.

5/12- In the a.m I get a call from the 1-800 # that the manufacterer has the fridge back ordered until 5/26, 2 weeks late. When I purchased it online there was no mention of a backorder and the people at the 1-800 # insist it was in stock and due to arrive until just this morning.

Sears does not communicate with it's different departments. The online doesn't work with the stores, the manufacters don't update the sears inventory at time of purchases. Clearly this is just a SEARS problem in general. I've been put on hold, hung up on and talked to over a dozen people most of which were foreign and hard to understand. I advise NEVER to buy from Sears.com.

No shipment but Billing
Sears.com uses third party vendors to sell the merchandise on their website, but they bill you the minute you purchase the item. If the vendor does not ship you what you bought, you still get billed by Sears + interest and finance charges. When you call customer service (?) they tell you that you must contact the vendor to get a credit. The information they sent me to contact the vendor consisted of an "out of service" phone number and a non-responsive e-mail. They are now threatening to turn my account over to a collection agency. This is a nightmare! CR of Maryland

DO NOT ORDER FROM SEARS.COM

Placed order through private vendor that Sears has a business "relationship " . I figured Sears was reputable, Sears.com should be safe. Order confirmation and shipping notice emailed almost immediately, charged my account, NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT! Sears. com now saying not their problem, need to contact private vendor but contact info. is not valid. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM!

Poor planing and late appointments
My washing machine was intermittently unlevel during the spin cycle. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. I took out a service contract, just in case it got worse. It did. But I should have paid cash. I've spent three weeks partially drip-drying the laundry, and waiting for the warranty contract repairman came with an even higher cost in lost work.

I called Dec. 22. My first repair was scheduled for AM Dec. 28. I waited all AM, came PM. They couldn't fix it, and needed parts. Two techs came back AM Jan. 7. They still couldn't fix it, because not all the parts had been delivered. I scheduled another appointment for AM Jan. 10. Nobody showed, period. I called 1-800-4MY-HOME. "Oh, we're sorry sir, we must have had a major computer glitch with dispatch. We'll have a technician there today." Mundane, right? Now it gets interesting.

I arrange for Mom to be at my house. A technician van pulls in the driveway. My mother sees him: 1 gentleman, not 2 like before. Technician gets on his cell phone; calling his assistant? Nope. He calls the wrong number in my records -- my cell phone -- and I missed the call. He drove away before Mom finished unlocking the door to stop him. No knock, no doorbell, no "sorry we missed you card." Mom calls me. I call customer service. "Sorry sir, you missed your appointment." Uh, no!

Given Sears' many errors, all I want is a first thing AM or last thing PM appointment. I don't care if it is 6am or 8pm. Sears refuses. All I can do is agree to another half day of lost work. So much my summer vacation, I just gave it to the laundry repair man.

Trying to return item! What a mess
Made purchase on Sears.com on Nov 21. Paid $200, Monday Nov 22 saw the item on sale for $112.00. Tried to cancel 1st order but said I needed to let the process happen since they couldn't stop it. Once receive it take to a Sears store to get full refund. Talked to 2 other customer service to confirm could take to store which they confirmed. I went to Sears store, Metro Center Phoenix AZ. Manager Don was nasty, said I need to read the fine print says "you must return by mail" He could not and would not help me. "Go home and follow the steps". Nasty! Kept calling Sears.com customer service, funny how each one gives you a different answer. Finally after 6 calls, emailed and got a reply from Sarah S.. "Why do you want to return", well now if they would read the history of my calls they would know why. Replied to explain the issue AGAIN. Received an email from Mervin K who said "please return to the nearest Sears store for full refund". lol, , can you believe it. The run around continues and I will call every day, maybe twice a day and document all the stories. Will most likely end up contacting a local TV station with his "story" and let them put Sears in their place for horrible service.
