On November 7, 2006 we bought a Kenmore HE2Plus washer. We were in the market for a heavy duty top load washer. The sales man we talked to told us about the front washers and how they save water and are more reliable than a top load washer. We have had more issues with our front load washer than I care to remember. They to me are the most unreliable washers or at least mine has been. The pedastool we were recommended to buy will not stabilize due to non locking nuts or washers on the legs. Therefor every time I do laundry I have to restabilize the legs due to the drain in our floor. December 8, 2008 my washer poured water all over my floor when I went to do a load of laundry. I had the repairman out and he said it is broken broken. I asked him to explain. My tub cracked the motor was laying on the bottom and he said we have a fire hazard here and unplug the washer. He also stated that it would be sometime next week before they could fix it. That would have been December 17th or 18th. 2008. We are a family of 6, and Sears or Kenmore has made no attempts to either expedite the parts or to even have contact with us. I receive a prerecorded message telling me more parts should arrive around December 30th, 2008. I had to use my Christmas present money to wash clothes at the laundramat. My tally so far is $417. to wash clothes at the laundramat. 1/4 of what I paid for your product. I will never buy another Kenmore product nor will I ever buy from Sears again, what ever service contract people they have working for them 1 lady is extremely rude and hung up on me twice. I am telling all my friends, fmily and relatives to never buy a Kenmore product due to the fact they can't back up there products, and Sears is eager to make the sale but not help you when its broken. I have also told them about my experience with Sears and to not buy from them either. We are all better off going to Home Depot or Lowes and buying a Maytag at least there more willing to help and I should have stuck with a Maytag. At least I got 16 years out of my top load washer.
