My original date of purchase: 11/16/2008 - 11/17/2008 where I purchased a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer. There was an overload in the system so they had to be ordered the next day
When I went around the store with the sales person calculating the prices he calculated them at a lower price then what they charged me. (of around a $1000 total give or take). They gave me free delivery for the mix up (a cost of about $65 normally). Then I had to call to schedule delivery, they already had the products delivered to the store so they had to cancel all the products and re order them with a delivery date. The wrong stove was ordered & so that had to be delivered 1 to 2 weeks later. I got the items delivered like March 10th ish. The range wasn't delivered until the 22nd of March. (so two days taken off of work for delivery so far)
Then the refrigerator had condensation on the outside & a repair guy was sent here to look at it. (another day off work). About 2-3 weeks later received phone call to call sears back to purchase another refrigerator or same product. Only an allotment of 1295.99 (order # 2711019). The refrigerator still lists at:1899.99. They were only giving me the sale price that I payed for it on another model, which would be a bottom end model not remotely close to the model I purchased. (I purchased the refrigerator on a friends and family sale day, being a frugal shopper) So I agreed on the same model not wanting to loose features on the refrigerator. The replacement "new" refrigerator was delivered on 7/28. (another day off work). The "new" refrigerator runs constantly, condensation on outside, "glue" showing through around seal, vibrates loudly all the time, ice machine is extremely loud sounds broken. Called sears same day scheduled delivery of another refrigerator on 7/30. (another day off work)
Not to mention when trying to deal with the people to try and get a replacement refrigerator spent over an hour on hold (of my cell phone minutes) & then was hung up on so had to go through the whole process again.
5 days off work total to this point.
The replacement "new" refrigerator once again had condensation on the outside of the freezer and along the rubber seal of the freezer. Probably down the line causing mold to grow. I spoke to sears again and they sent a tech out and he once again said I would need a replacement. Sears never called me to set it up. When I did call they said oh I'm sorry for the mix up and told me I needed to pick out a new model or get another replacement. That was about two weeks ago. I called yesterday to find out that the ticket that was issued is expired already. No one ever told me I have a certain amount of time to act on it. So the woman yesterday told me she was doing me a favor by replacing my refrigerator. How is it a favor when I have yet to receive a product that works correctly? This refrigerator is also supposed to be energy efficient. How so when the cold air is escaping through the freezer door obvious by the condensation on the outside and around the seal? The refrigerator that I have now is getting louder by the day as well.
I would just like my money back for the product. I am tired of taking time off of work and spending time on hold and what not trying to get this figured out. I bought a brand new product that should have worked the first time let alone the fourth/fifth time. I have had no issues with any other appliances from Sears that I purchased that day. I am very unsatisfied with the customer service and my whole experience dealing with associates from sears.
