Last week, I was reviewing the charges posted to my bank debit card account and found a $79.00 charge posted on 12/02/09 from Seattle Coffee Direct which I never authorized or ordered. I called the toll-free number at least 10 times and could not get through to an agent. I was requested to leave a message but I did not. I even called my bank and initiated a fraud investigation. The bank gave me a reference number and were going to contact the company by telephone and by letter to obtain and refund and to tell them not to send any other products.

Today, 12/10/09, I received two shipments from Seattle Coffee Direct (under the name of Cafe Saporito). Each package contained a 12 oz aluminum packet of coffee (in one package was a "Breakfast Blend" and in the other a "Gourmet House Blend") with a special travel coffee cup in each package. Again, I tried to call the toll-free telephone number (1-888-963-CAFE) and again could not get to an agent (they were all busy with other customers). This time, I did leave a message @ approximately 4:00 p.m. but have not received a return phone call.

I am writing them a letter with this information to stop them from sending me unsolicited products. And I am continuing the fraud investigation by my back.
