I signed up for Seattle Coffee Direct/ Ultimate Beans due to one of those stupid surveys that you could win a flat screen tv. When it kept asking me to sign up for more I left the site knowing now I would have to cancel what I signed up for. I cancelled 2 of the 3 I signed up for because 1 had a 2 years commitment. Seattle Coffee didn't have any contract but you did get coffee every other week. Well you got charged faster than you got the coffee. In all I was charged $25.00 for the free trial of 2 - 12 oz. bags on 8/12/09. I then got charged $38.95 on 8/17/09 for 2 more 12 oz bags. These 2 shippments I kept. I also got charged $38.95 again on 8/17/09 for 2 more 12 oz bags plus $1.17 for shipping I guess. Then on 8/20/09 I was charged $38.95 plus $1.17 for yet another shippment. I contacted Seattle Coffee Direct/ Ultimate Beans on 8/21/09 cancelled my order for coffee, got a confirmatoin# of 591903, sent back the last 2 shippments and awaited my refund. I was told it could take up to 90 days. On 11/9/09 I was charged $79.00 plus $2.37 for you guessed it 2 more shippments of coffee, which was 4 bags, that I of course recieved after my account was charged. This was sent after I cancelled my shippments & closed account. I again contacted Seattle Coffee to cancel this and now try to a total of $161.61 owed to me. As of today 2/08/10 I have yet to recieve any money due to me. I have tried to contact Seattle Coffee to no avail, I get a recording then answering service, have left many messages and gotten no replies. I cannot send a copy of my bank statements at this time but would like to know how I go about getting my money back.
