Unauthorized shipments & charges
Like so many others, I ordered the intial product and then kept receiving more coffee at $34.00 a pop. I sent the shipments back and requested my account be closed - this was back in June/09. Then, to my surprise, in December/09, I started receiving the product again - two shipments within a week of each other - and charges on my credit card of $79.00 per shipment. I called on Dec. 24th and actually spoke with a person (Cynthia), who said they were trying to close my account but accidentally reactivated it ... I don't understand how that can happen. I was told my account was cancelled, given a cancellation number and sent a confirming email. I was also told my credit card would be credited "once the appropriate person/people return to the office after the Christmas holiday". No credit to my charge card ... it is now Jan. 19/10 and I cannot get a person on the telephone. I have written to my credit card company, but the charges are still on my account. Seattle Direct and all its affiiliates (or aliasas) need to be shut down.

recieved coffee and mug not ordered
The company sent me coffee and a mug that i did not order. I promptly returned it only to find that they charged my credit card. Witch I never gave them. Now I can't get in touch with them. The only thing I can do is email them at [email protected] Maybe I will get lucky and they will return my money. By the way they charged me $79.00 less then a lb. of coffee and a mug. don't get involved with these people.

Unauthorized charges
Twice, I was shipped 1 pound of coffee with a coffee mug that I did not order. They then charged my credit card $79.00.
When calling their 800 number (which I did 6 times) you never get a live operator and are asked to leave a message and they will call you back. Never received a call back.
Avoid this company - please!!

No refunds for returned products
This company offers an attractive trial offer. I subscribed, got a shipment of coffee, called 2 weeks later to cancel and they kept sending coffee (sometimes 2 shipments a week!) and billing my checking account/debit card. I have been returning their packages, unopened for several months but have yet to see a credit. They try billing under several different names (Cafe Sapporito, Cafe Direct, etc.) and are nearly impossible to reach by phone. When I finally reached someone, they assured me my account was closed. That was a month ago and I have since received 2 more charges/shipments.

Never answer calls need to cancel
I have tried severl times calling the company but get no answer, I am returning order and want to cancel but I can't get a hold of anyone at the company. They charged my account $60 dollars and I have not gotten the shipment.

Illigal practicies
I placed an order for a trial coffee on 06-08-2009 and they charged and shipped to me two shippments using my card without my knowledge or permittion/ shippments on 06-09-09 for $25.00 and 06-10-09 for $38.95/.
I was not able to receive my first shippment yet in order to taste coffee and decide if I want to buy it in the future or not when second shippment was charged and shipped without my knowledge even. When I talked to them on the phone about it they were rude with me and hanged up on me.
The first package was returned to them, second one was dropped at the door at my apartment door and was lost. I talked to them on 08-18-09 and they promised to refund my money for two shippments within 30-60 days. I was calling them many times after that, and the date of refund was moving futher and futher. On October, 13 Nina said my refund is scheduled for Oct.18.
Today is Oct.21 and I called them 7 times already. There is no way to reach supervisor. Girls there told me my money will be refunded in another 5 days /after waiting for more then 2 months already!/.
I had no choice but report them to my credit company.

excessive overcharges
yeah these guys deffinitely try to scam you. i just called them after reading the latest post about them overcharging people. they sent me what i ordered, which was good. but they try to get all your money by sending you more and more coffee evry 2 weeks or earlier. i called the cancellation number and they cancelled my account immidiately. so, i hope thats the last of them... ??????

Unrefunded money
This company is a scam!! They sent me 3 unauthorized shipments of 1and 1/2 lbs of coffee, and when returned, at my expense, told me no one could help me, that it could take a month to get my refund. It has been over a month and still mo refund!! Let's put this joke of a company out of business!!

Fraudulant Charges
They put charges on my card that were not authorized. They put four charges on my card in three days time. Then when I called to complain the customer service department refused to let me speak with anyone who could help me. The person I did speak with ID# 3005 claimed that there was no one in existence that could help me. That there was no one higher in the company that could give me a refund of the money they stole from me! Don't you think if she was the highest person in the company she could give a refund of stolen money?

Refund will not happen
Seattle Direct Coffee is a RIPOFF. Do NOT order anything from them. We ordered the 10 day trial back in November 2008 and still cannot get them to refund out 34$ even after we promptly returned their product. I have called at least 5 times, always told I"ll get my money back in 7-10 business days and never get anything. It is now almost JULY of 2009. Go figure. Please do NOT order anything from this company. They are a SCAM!!!
