i had gotten one order from seattle direct coffee, never agreeing to more than one order and i was charges 38.95 for an order i never authorized. i have contacted them 3 times since around jan. 12th. wanting a refund the first person told me it would take 10 days so i watched my account everyday for the refund and it never came. i contacted them again on feb.2 and was told it had been processed and "for some reason it kicked it out" but they assured me i would have it in 3 to 5 days, well i decided to not wait i called again on the 6th of.feb. and was told it had not been processed and it would be done and i would again have it in 3 days. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!

I thought I was ordering $5 promotion which included two bags of cofffee and two travel mugs. I find out later that they charged $25 and then $38.95 each month. They are total shameless scammers - when I called them and got a hold of a representative, he told me that I missed the fine print. Man, I never miss the fine print, EVER. And they don't know anything about how to select or roast coffee beans. Their coffee sucks. Seriously, how can they call themselves "Seattle" Direct?! STAY AWAY!!

When I rec'd product anyway I wrote asking for directions for returning and getting a refund but instead of answering my leter they just kept on sending the product--24 oz. of coffee per week at a price of either $38.96--or once in a whie $39.26. I finally started refusing shipments and returning them to sender meanwhile calling the customer service line and sjpeaking to Kevin who promised me that all I had to do was return the product and a refund would be issued. When no refund was forthcoming I again wrote t o the comany at both what appeared t be the main ffices--in Evanston, IL and the shipping poit in Nes IL.This has been going on for over six weeks now and I still have not een had the courtesty of a reply, They owe me oer $200.00 and they are not making any effort to meet their obligation. Obviously this is an unethical business ractice.

I saw an add for 2 coffee cups, 2 travel mugs, and 2lbs of coffee for 5 dollars on Facebook... I followed the link and signed up for Seattle Direct Coffee. A few days later I had the offer arrive at my house... a few days later I had the same 2lbs of coffee I already received arrive at my house... a few days later (within 10 days) another 2lbs of coffee came... HOW COULD ANYONE USE THIS MUCH... I looked online at my bank statement... I had been charged 9.99, 26.00 and 34.00 for each of these shipments...WHAT HAPPENED TO FIVE DOLLARS

I canceled my subscription with them immediately but wanted to warn others that this company is like a Columbia House/BMG Music for coffee and they will simply charge you for the coffee they ship. I have been told I will receive a refund when i return the shipments.

I too received charges for a second order within 4 days of the first. I have a cancellation number. They are refunding the second charge. I didn't see this page before I ordered. I just wondered how many of you were going for something like 5 for $5? And was the real reason you ordered was to qualify for some other prize (like silver, gold, etc. qualifications groups).
