Still no Refund of Response
[[SEATTLE COFFEE DIRECT, biggest ripoff scam in the country! Major problem working with Seattle Direct Coffee. Won't issue refund, and won't answer phones, won't return calls either. They went so far as to email me a "refund confirmation number" as a sign of good faith for my refund of $79.40. This order was returned to them September 23rd of 2009 and now all their phones are not being answered and today the recording says phone difficulties...Seattle Direct Coffee, Ultimate Beans, and Euro Coffee Express are all the same company. If they have other aliases, I am unaware of them, however, this is the biggest ripoff scam I have ever encountered. I have consoled myself in the fact that I can kiss that money goodbye, because these cheating bastards will never refund my money. They have gone out of their way to cheat the American Consumer and some sort of retribution/sanctions should be brought against these crooks. I will not stop in my efforts to spread the word about this deceitful corporation and it's sister companies. It may not mean much to anyone but me, but negative words about a company will have lasting effects and that is my intention. If Seattle Direct changes their name, I will find out and make sure to drag them through the mud too. All they had to do was be an honest business, stand by their word, and honor thier customers. lack of refund
in april of 2009, my husband purchased some mugs and things from their site. they automatically signed him up for a twice-a-month automatic shipment program. within one week they shipped three shipments (supposed to be twice a month, they sent three in one week????). we returned all three shipments and were told it would take 2-3 billing cycles to post on our credit card. i've called every months since then; meanwhile 8 months later, still no refund. as of a couple of weeks ago, i could no longer speak with a human being; i could only leave a message. of course no one called me back, despite the fact that i told them i had filed with the BBB. now, the voicemail box is full, can't even leave a message. WHAT A CROCK!
DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

bad business practices
I signed up for a deal of mugs, grinder, and coffee for one time purchase for $15.00, as of this morning they have robbed my bank account of over $160, you can't get them on the phone, when you do they outright lie to you, I finally filed a complaint with the fraud department of my bank and with the better business bureau. It wasn't until my bank actually called them that I got any satisfaction. Even then they told me it would take up to 30 days to refund the money they stole from me.

refund
DO NOT BUY from this company no matter how much you like their coffee!!
I have sent back the last 2 orders that I did not even order. My credit card was charged for thse shipments and each month I call to get a refund and they tell me 2 billing cycles. The first person implied it was from the date they sent it, the second from the date they received it and the third from the day I called. They claim that UPS takes well over a month to return it and then it has to go back to a different warehouse and be processed before they issue a refund. They also employ the rudest people ( or maybe they get that way from irate customers) to respond to inquiries as to refunds.. DO NOT BUY from this company!

Overcharge
This is probably one of many complaints regarding Seattle Direct, in which a grinder and 2 bags of coffee were ordered for $9.99, and I was billed $36.95. Have returned subsequent coffee packages, and do not get any cooperation, or credit on my credit card statement. Who would ever in their right mind pay almost $40.00 for 2 lbs. of coffee?
