In October of 2010, we purchased a used Sebring engine to install in a customers car from Union Auto Salvage. We paid cash for the engine and promptly installed it using ASE registered technicians. Immediately after reaching operating temperature it was clear that the engine was defective. This began our campaign to either get another engine from Union Auto Salvage or a refund of our monies. Ultimately, we had to purchase an engine from another source to install in our customer's vehicle. Today is 16th of June, after many promises of a new engine and monies we have neither. We have however heard many, many outlandish excuses. When we contacted an attorney to file a suit against this business we were told we are one of many and our pursuit would only be "good money after bad". This business has an "F" rating for good reason with the BBB. When the BBB attempted to contact Union Auto on our behalf, they were ignored. Apparently, Mr. Greer, the owner, does not care about his reputation or how his customers are treated.. PLEASE stay away from this business!!!
