Liars and Bogus- No Cards Issued as promised
Donated a car back in August 08. Part of the deal was to receive a free gas card valued at $500. Come to find out, it was not a $500 gas card, but this monthly submission of receipts to receive $25 cards each month for the next year and better. Followed all the instructions submitting my $100 in gas receipts every month from September 08 to current. Over $100 worth of gas at one particular named station only. After 4 months didn't receive anything. Called them on November 13th 2008 and got someone on the first call. Explained the situation and they checked my account and told me someone at the company I donated the car too had accidently given me thier account information and was "supposedly receiving my gas cards". I was told that it would be corrected, I would receive my back gift cards and an email was on the way to me with a new gas code and everything. Got an email with the new coupons the same day and continued to send my receipts. Noted on my calendar shipping dates and everything. However, the last letter sent came back with a return to sender, refused unable to forward sticker. Tried to call and the number was disconnected. This is how many months later already. Not one gift card was ever sent. I spent over $700 in gas and more than enough in stamps and envelopes trying to mail these things on time and appropriately. What a bunch of scammers and theives. I want my money back

False Advertising
I too have been a victim of the many others I see on this site. From a purchase with Big-O-Tires for my van that I no longer have (it died 2 months after my tire purchase-wasted money and time there) was promised a $500 rebate...you know the drill. I was fortunate, I suppose, to receive $100 in gas cards. There have since been 8 more months of my faithful $100 gas purchases go by with promise after promise to pay. HA!! In the last two weeks of my attempting to contact the companyagain, I have been getting a constant busy signal at 1-888-828-5266. The 1-800-514-0366 appears to be disconnected. Just yesterday I received in my mailbox the most recent $100 monthly purchase of receipts in gas as "return to sender refused unable to forward." Folks it looks like we are out of luck...or are we? Is there anything that we are entitled to as a consumer? If anyone knows anything please share it with me. What an exhausting time consuming mess this has been!! Like I don't have other issues to deal with in my life!

Gas Vouchers
They no longer have an operating phone. We are 6 months behind in getting our gas cards after being assured a few months back they were mailing them. The least they could have done is written and explained they were out of business and apologize.

misrepresentation/fraud
In August of 2008 I bought a new Ford Mustang from Evergreen Ford in Issaquah, Washington. As part of my deal they said they would give me a $500.00 gas card. What they didn't tell me is that I would have to pay a $5.00 set up fee and then buy $100.00 worth of gas each month, return the receipts within specified time frame and I would get a $25.00 gas card. It would take until May 2010 before I would be able to use up my $500.00 gas voucher.
I have sent in my receipts each month since October to Secure Gas Redemption and I have yet to receive any gas cards. They will not return my phone calls or emails and as of Monday - the phone rings and no one answers at all. I have complained to Evergreen Ford and so far their only response has been - Sorry to hear that - no one else has complained to us. I feel like I have been misled and lied to in order for them to make the sale and I told them had I know the truth - it would have been a deal breaker for me.
How can these companies get away with stuff like this???

Not getting Cards
When gas prices were over $4.00 a gallon, I donated my car to M.A.D.D. to receieve $100 gas card. I sent in my reciepts of $100 every month for 4 months. I called several times and got a voicemail or the voicemail was full. I left countless messages when I was able to actually leave a voicemail and never got a call back. I waited a few weeks and tried again. Twice I actually got a live person and I was advised that they were behind on sending the cards out but no worries my cards are on their way. Another month went by and still nothing. I tried again today (02-06-09) and now the contact number is no longer valid/disconnected. I will be contacting M.A.D.D. to advise them that they were dealing with scam artist. No wonder the Secure Gas Redemption Company got an"F" from the BBB what a bunch of pricks. We are in a recession and we made purchases/dealings with certain companys in order to receive something in return for our hard earned dollars!
