Thieving sales techniques
I was approached by a sales team from secure watch. I was told that the contract was for one year, and after six months I could cancel with no penalty. The paperwork was screwed up they sent the installer to the wrong address, the installer did a shoddy job, I had to fix two of three door sensors that he installed so the door would not open without knocking the sensor to the floor.
Come to find out, I am locked into a THREE year contract at $48 a month. ADT is a good company but they should be ashamed to do business with this type of theft. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and also contacting my congressman about this supposed three year lock-in contract they have.

dishonest sales rep and billing reps
This is the most dishonest and horrible company to deal with. They came door to door selling an alarm system. The sales person promised a free move cause I stated right up front that we would be moving and she stated that the move would be free and we would also be given 2 key fobs when the alarm was installed. The installer was a joke for a wireless system it took him 2 days to install and then he installed a motion detector in my living room and I have animals and people that move around at night. I asked for the motion detector to be installed in the attached garage since that is where I wanted it installed he installed it where he wanted it and promised to come back and move it. We called 2 days after the installation to sales person and never got a call back about the key fobs and the install job and she never called back also called ADT who told me to call secure watch called secure watch at the number the sales rep gave me which happened to be the dispatch or scheduling department, called back ADT and there computer system was down so by the time I got hold of Lance at Secure watch our 3 day window for cancellation was over and he laughed at our request to cancel. Also promised that the install guy would be there to correct incorrectly installed alarm and they never showed then rescheduled and they never showed again then again never showed. Rep called to get me to sign the contract again hell no cause they state they have the wrong address on the contract. Are you kidding sign a new contract not likely. Leave messages on cell phone mine and husbands told them not to call again. They sent me a letter stating they are suing me for cancellation fees but if I would pay the 99.00 move fee they would give me the 2 promised key fobs. Yeah right. Sue me I will pull my phone records showing I called 7 times after installation trying to resolve problems and got no help what so ever only laughed at.
