I recieved an "award claim notification" from secured financial award inc. The letter enclosed a check to pay the taxes to the irs and insurance to cover the delivery through fed-ex. When I deposited the checkwhich was through a real bankmy husband has credit cards with, so I thought this was real. I did wait to try and clear the check before spending any of the money. At least I had the sense to wait the check was a fake! Always investigate first.
