Anti Software Scam
To whom it may concern,
Following the attack by Security Tool, I have cancelled my credit card in order that the supplier will not try to debit another amount since it has all information regarding my credit card Visa. The Security Tool antivirus software is an empty software that invades your computer and it takes many hours of research to find the appropriate description and removal instructions to delete this application.
I can't understand why you are supporting this fraudulent supplier. I am sure I won't be the last person to be robbed on line.
Refund credit for fraudulent rogue antivirus software. Total amount of purchase $52.73CA, transaction date March 11, 2010, approximately around 11:50 p.m. TRansaction process by CHRPAY.COM, EUROSOFT
Title: Security Tool Also known as: SecurityTool
Type: Spyware
Severity scale: (72 / 100)
Security Tool is a rogue antivirus application that deliberately gives reports of false system security threats on your computer and displays fake security alerts or notifications to make you think your PC is infected with malware. The misleading application is from the same family as Total security 2009 and System Security. When installed, SecurityTool will be configured to start automatically when you log on into Windows. Then it will imitate system scan and display a variety of infections that can't be removed unless you purchase the program. The files detected during the scan are either harmless or legitimate system files and can't cause any damage to your computer.
Security Tool is pushed through the use of Trojans, fake online anti-malware scanners and other malicious software. It is installed along with Trojans FakeAV that display fake security warnings and promote SecurityTool malware. Once running, the bogus program will block legit programs and especially anti-virus software. Another interesting thing is that if you click on Updates button, you will see "Updating", but actually there is no network activity. It's just another argument why Security Tool is classified as a rogue security application. What is more, this parasite will impersonate Windows Security Center and constantly display warnings/notifications about serious security threats and privacy issues. It may claim that your computer is under attack by an Internet virus or that private data can be stolen. For example:
"Security Tool Warning
Spyware.IEMonster activity detected. This is spyware that attempts to steal passwords from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Outlook and other programs. Click here to remove it immediately with SecurityTool."
To make things worse, SecurityTool will hijack web browsers and block certain security websites obviously to protect itself from being deleted. It should be already obvious that this program is a scam. Do not purchase it. Instead, please use the removal guide below to remove Security Tool from your PC manually for free.

scam or fraud
The business name Security tool sent me a hacking web page claim to be a good antivirus protection for my pc. I don't want it but there is no way I can get rid off it unless I give my visa card information to the business name above. Which claiming $49.95 will cover my pc for two years. Once I gave my visa card information, there's no where the business to be found. Then I know it was a fraudurant or scam business that waiting and looking to rob people over the internet. Whoever conduct this kind of scam should face punishment and go to prison for long long time. The next day I contact my bank, they told me that my money have been taken out by chrpay.com and my bank also gave me a 1-800-350-6821 phone number to call. I placed a call to this phone number and I got a voice message with a man and than a woman speaking Russian. I waited for about 8 minutes and the voice message went silent and dead.
what a real rip-off!!!

fraud
FakeAlert-XPSecurityCenter once installed on a system will generate fake messages of infection. It encourages the user to purchase a registered copy of their product in order to clean infections. Unsuspecting users may get enticed by the use of such scare tactics. I checked to pay $49 to get the situation corrected. It went back to my regular desk top and the security icon is still on my system and they charged over $100 from my account. something seriously needs to be done. I thought i had protection. I was just surfing the web and I clicked on a picture from space.com and thats when it popped up. Im very disappointed I really use my computer to look for work Im a single mother and dont have a job that was the last of my funds for now. Im eager to see this and all other companies greed come to an end.

Fraud
I was doing some research regarding a good Antivirus and then suddenly this "Security Tool" appeared on my desktop. It offered to protect my computer against viruses and to clean the computer, etc. The offer was $50, so I paid for it in hope that it would be a programme that would help my computer. The complete opposite happened, it blocked many websites and it seemed to block any normal activity that I tried to undertake on my computer. Even when I tried to go buy a legit Norton Antivirus, it blocked the website and it was impossible to try and open it. Now my computer does not work at all and this "Antivirus" or shall I say "Viral" company charged me $55 for nothing or again let me say for ruinining my computer. It charged me for a virus!
I would appreciate some help...
Thank You
