We stumbled upon this site and thougth it might be a great tool for other professionals and companies to protect themselves. We are owed by this business. They cheated us and did not hold their end up of an exisiting contract. Barter =value and we are owed a certain amount that we have not been able to collect. The owner operator of this location is NOT a representation of the franchise which is a respectable and reputable global brand we were so excited to work with. As a business, too often we turn our head and write off debt due to bad business practices by people we have serviced in the past. Thsi was one time we simply could not sit back and we were wronged.
We worked via contract with the above mentioned venue, a franchised location and much to our surprise, they did not honor our contract in the end. We provided a series of services to them including marketing and public relations. We also coordinated their grand opening which included city officials, celebrities and other franchise owners from the brand. We fronted fees for their grand opening in good faith and we also made sure that they were pleased with the results of the grand opening which hosted close to 800 guests. We got them a Proclamation from the City of South Miami and had all governing organizations and entities present at their event for a formal ribbon cutting. They told us they were very happy and introduced us to people basically giving us a thumbs up for our good services. They cancelled two meetings and we never heard from them again. They did not respond to our many attempts to meet. We tried to collect a gift card or certificate for the trade (barter) they agreed to and never got a response. They have avoided us completely. Bad business practices are never good in a place where one is only as good as their word. We have been fortunate to work with many venues and clients that have kept their end of the bargain. This is not one of those instances. A simple reply would have been wonderful. If they were in trouble, we would have worked with them. But the barter was done in good faith as we extended a lower retainer fee and even waived some initial fees when we signed them up as a client. We learned the hard way that Willy and Minerva Quintana were not true collaborators. To date we never got an apology, attempt to pay us or give us a gift certificate. We want to repeat that the franchise is not to blame. We love their brand and will continue support them as every other location we have been to or worked with are amazing. This new one, aesthetically is great andgreat food. What is doesn't have are good operators. I could have gone as far as uploading the contract but didnt want to go overboard with what I am stating. A picture is worth a thousand words they say...BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE.BEWARE
