I too was charged twice on the same date on my credit card for $1.95. I only had one on-line charge on my entire credit card for a Bissell steam cleaner that I purchased. I never had a conversation with anyone on the phone regarding this purchase or any purchase. I called my credit card company and the legal department stayed on the line and conferenced in a supervisor, Darrick, from MN call center. They said that I made a phone purchase and approved the charges twice as charged. They said I could get an audio of the transaction if I put it in writing and that is just what I did. They subsequentely credited my acct. As I said I got the legal dept involved from my credit card company and didn't delay. In the meantime, I am waiting for the audio recording that allegedly gave approval for these charges. We shall see what they come up with. Pittsburgh, PA
