My husband and I are cancelling our AARP membership and support after hearing about their support of the proposed healthcare bill. AARP is touted as being a friend of seniors and looking out for our best interest. However, if the AARP membership and management were to really read the current proposal, they would see item after item that is discounting and moving to rationing care to our seniors. This healthcare bill is NOT senior freindly, and those individuals who try to convince us that it is should absolutely be ashamed of themselves. Wake up seniors. We do not deserve to be cut out of society by those who do not believe that we are valuable enough to spend "healthcare" dollars on. This bill WILL NOT help Medicare nor enhance our health care or cost. Shame, shame, shame on them who try to convince you it will!!!
