To make a long story short I gave my dog Sergeants silver flea and tick squeeze on for dogs nov 8 2009 at noon. He started to scratch but I thought it was just the fleas biting before they died. It continued throughout the day and got worse. So i bathed him thinking maybe he had an allergic reaction. I bathed him with ivory dishsoap and gave him benadryl thinking he would now be ok. This was at 8 pm the same day. As the night went on he started getting worse but this time he started to twitch and jerk his back leg hard. So I took him to the ER at midnight and the vet gave him some muscle relaxers hoping that would clear it up. Well he did not improve he continued the next day to get worse and jerk more frequent and harder and at this point he quit eating and drinking. So i took him to my local vet and they gave him a cortizone shot and shots in the back with fluid to help him urinate frequent as this is how it flushes this toxic medication out of the system. So I took him home and I noticed he wasn't urinating alot like the doctor said so I took him back the next day and they realized he was dehydrated from not drinking and this was why his body just absorbed the fluids because it needed it. So there was no excess or leftover. At this point they realized this was not going to help so he had to stay at the vets and receive an IV muscle relaxers and Valium so that he can sleep. The next day the vet informed me he still is not eating or drinking he is still jerking and twitching and scratching. This damage could be permanent to his nervous system. So he stayed the next night and is still there because he is not improving so far. This product is TOXIC DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE BRAND SERGEANTS!!! I have spent already 600$ trying to save his life on a 7$ product that is just POISON. The vet informed me this stuff is just poison its putting toxins into their body. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR PET ANY PRODUCT THEY MAY DIE OR HAVE SERIOUS DAMAGE! THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE AND CRUEL!!!
