With due respect I would like to bring to your notice that I, A.K.Sinha resident of Ghaziabad own a TATA INDICA (DL8CM 3743). I had bought this car with an extended warranty.
Being born and brought up in JAMSHEDPUR I bought an Indica since I always stayed under the shadow of the brand name TATA, but now I got to know that this brand name is not responsive for its customers.
I had given my car for service on the 07/10/2009 at 11.00 am at Srinathji Motors Pvt. Ltd. My job Slip number is 718. The service advisor (Mr. Naresh cell no. 9716461168) promised to deliver the car the very next day that is on the 08/10/2009 by the evening with all my work completed which included all the job work that comes under my extended warranty.
It has been 3 days now and I am either running or calling the service station to get the status of my car. My calls were never answered properly. Sometimes I was told that my car is in washing and I will get it in another 2 hours or it is still waiting in the queue. I never received a satisfactory answer and the language used by the advisor was really rough, with a neglecting attitude and an illiterate version. After 3 days of mental pain and harassment I get to know that I am not liable to avail the services that come under the extended warranty.
Please let me know if I have done the biggest mistake in my life by availing a TATA car and that after having availed the facility of an extended warranty, why am I not liable to avail the facilities of the same. I had asked for three job works done that are suspension, ac choking and central locking which come under the extended warranty but that service advisor of Srinathji Motors told me that they cannot do it and I have to pay nearly 6500/- for the same. I have all the details of the same and have also gone through the website of TATA Motors which specifically indicates that all these three jobs come under the extended warranty.
I am not able to understand why is Srinath Motors doing all this, is it for some personal gains?
I have not yet got my car back and I have no idea what to do. I rang up the TATA customer care and spoke to Mr. Vilas (Ref. No. 1/7728887001), told him my grievances but not received a satisfactory response. Instead he gave me a number of Lucknow and told me to speak there.
Sir I am a salaried person and don’t have time for all this stuff. Please guide me what to do- sell of my car, tell all the people about my experience with TATA MOTORS or wait for an immediate step from your side which resolves my problems.
