We used the internet to search for vehicles within our price range, and with the options we had hoped for, as a gift to our daughter who was going to college.
We were "quoted" $17,900 on a vehicle we liked, but were told they'd "go down" to $16,900 (which we paid). Later, we found that it was already offered on their internet site for $16,900 so their "reduced special price to us" was nothing special. After we brought it home, our daughter wasn't crazy about it, but they highly publicize their "7 day exchange policy", so we called and arranged a day to find something else. The day we were going to come in, we called 1st to make sure they had a vehicle worth exchanging (equal or higher value). We did find one, slightly higher in price but we were willing to pay the difference. When we got there, we were told, "OH, THAT VEHICLE JUST SOLD". Keep in mind this is below-zero windchills outside and the worst time of year for used car sales, yet someone supposedly came in and bought that EXACT vehicle that they assured us was still on their lot, when we called just hours before. Instead, they offered an EVEN exchange for another vehicle they SAID was "equal" but yet (luckily) I had already printed it out from their internet sight (it was only $14,900!!!) BAIT & SWITCH IS EVIDENT HERE!!!! Don't do business there; you'll be sorry!
