Partial refund
Here's a working number for SFL Nutrition: 866-938-4832. I received a partial refund (70%) within a reasonable timeframe from returning the product. I did need to have the order number, which is in teh parperwork that comes with the product. I tried to get this company to refund the remaining 30%, but I was told the terms of the agreement included a 30% restocking fee. I told them "What agreement? I never signed anything." Well, as soon as you start to make sense, they actually pretend they cannot hear you, then they inform you that due to no response they will be forced to disconnect the call. This happened three times! I even tape recorded it. It's truly a riot. Are any of you lawyers? Anyone interested in starting a class action suit against this company?

product not rec'd/charged fee
I was also scammed! On January 14 I ordered a trial of the Acai Berry Supreme and the Life Cleanse using my debit card. It was advertised as only $5.95 for the Acai Berry Supreme and $3.95 for the Life Cleanse. There was no confirmation e-mail sent to me. On January 16 my checking account was debited for $3.95 under the name Acai Berry & Life Cleanse and $0.08 for an international service fee. On January 29 I received the Acai Berry Supreme. The packing slip that came with it explained that I had 15 days to cancel my membership or I would be charged a montly fee. There was a toll free number and also a live chat line listed that you were to use to cancel. I tried the toll free number. It would connect and give you a recorded message stating that someone would be with me shortly. As soon as the message would end the call would be disconnected. I tried the number numerous times. Each time with the same result. I logged on to the live chat line. After waiting 25 mins. I was finally able to connect with somone and get my membership cancelled. They stated they would send me an e-mail confirming my cancellation. I never received it. On that same day that I received the product my checking account was debited for the $5.95 and also $0.12 for an international service charge. Conveniently enough on that same day a hold was put on my checking account for $87.13 under the name Acai XL with an additional $1.74 international service charge. With the trouble I had cancelling the other account I realized this was all a scam and I had no idea why there was a hold for $87.13 when I had cancelled my account. I called my bank and talked to someone in the disbutes department. He had another number for this company and got them on the phone. In a three-way phone call we talked to some guy in India (my bank guy asked him where he was). The guy in India stated that my membership was cancelled and he didn't know where the other charge was coming from. He stated it wasn't from his company and he didn't show any other accounts under my name. He repeately refused to give the guy from my bank any information regarding the SFL company. (addresses, phone #'s, contact names ect...) We finally got frustrated with him and hung up because he wasn't helping at all. My bank told me to watch my account and if the charge was posted then to call back and we would disbute the charge in writing. The following two days the charge remained on hold. The third day it was gone. I thought everything was fine. Two days after that I checked my account and the $87.13 + $1.74 were taken out! I called my bank back. We called a different phone number where I was on hold for 25 mins. (the message said 3-5 min. wait time) I finally got someone and explained everything to her. (in India again!) She stated that the product had shipped and I hadn't cancelled my membership in the 15 days. I explained to her that I had never received it or I would have cancelled it. She told me she would cancel my account now and send an e-mail to the refund department. I would then have to wait 10 days for them to respond to me via e-mail telling me whether or not they would issue me a refund. I asked her multiple times for a phone number for the refund department or someone else. She finally gave me the e-mail address for the refund department. Of course when I got off the phone and tried to send an e-mail, it came back as undeliverable because the e-mail address wasn't valid! I called my bank back immediately and cancelled my debit card. I filed a disbute with my bank and a claim with the Florida Better Business Bureau. After reading another message on this site, I will be calling the Boca Raton Police Department Internet Crimes Division in the morning. I cannot believe after all these claimes the company is still in business. I will do everything I can to let people know about them! Oh and about the international service fees...I asked my bank about it. Even though the product shipped from FLORIDA, the people that took the internet order were out of the country (India I'm sure) so they can charge the additional money. They get you every possible way! Unbelievable!!!

sent bottle of unauthorized acai
Received a full bottle after requesting only a trial...was charged $9.95 for S & H was supposed to be $4.95...informed on order summary that I would receive a monthly supply at $88.62 plus S & H $9.95 each month unless cancelled within 15 days...Have been trying phone number and website for 2 hours...website (supposedly live) sent a list of "answers" to questions via email that cannot even be accessed. What recourse do I have?

RIP OFF
Same situation as others. I actually did speak with someone over the telephone and via live chat. What's even funnier is they actually gave me a return authorization number! It's worth the same as the TP I use in the bathroom. These people have caused me a lot of time and effort to get my money back. I'm in the process of filing complaints/charges with the BBB, FL Chamber of Commerce and any other organization that will take my complaint. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!

Rip Off
I have read so many complaints about this company, I too ordered a trial bottle of Acai Berry Then after reading about this company I called to cancel. Talked to several people on the phone they did answer, I cancelled my order and asked for an e-mail conformation # they said it would be 24-48 hours for that .I kept insisting I get the e-mail NOW. After asking for their address, they wanted to know why I said I want to send the product back, they said the don't take back opened bottles. Long story short I didn't want to give them enough time to charge my card printed everything from the chat help conversation called my bank to let them know I may be cxl my card . SFL finally after me hounding the chat people for about 3 hrs they said I could just keep the bottle and I won't be charged. We'll see.
