Scam
Shay Stewart made False Promises as a so called Money Manager . He guaranteed my capital to be returned if my investment of $10.000 was lost due to negative Currency Trading moves. I know 'guarantee' is far fetched etc but this was his Hook and I fell for it at the time. Basically he used my $10, 000 and a string of False Promises to set himself up as an OANDA (an Online Currency Trading platform/company) 'Money Manager' and then proceeded to change the game on me several times. As he systematically lost my money over a few short months and even though I said I wanted him to stop before I lost everything; more 'Guaranteed return of Capital' promises etc... unbeknown to me (If he was an upstanding, transparent manager with one business 'partner': me at the time, our original deal was: I put in the Capital and he makes the trades and we split the profits 50/50 on a weekly basis) he brought in other 'clients' using 'Oanda Money Manager' as his "official" title thereby attracting a pool of investment clients. He is not a licensed broker, he is self-taught. From this new position (supposedly now protected by the Oanda scheme) he could then say to me he couldn't give me my $10, 000 capital back as and when originally promised I had to wait...and wait ..and wait...AND? (his intention is to move to Singapore and set up offices as a Currency Trader.) He has no office not even a fixed address, ...always 'staying with friends'... All his business is conducted via the internet and cell phone which makes it very easy to fool people into believing ANYTHING. He can make up all sorts of false claims and names. And, as he has refused to supply me with his own 'Broker's' contact details (originally, that was the easy phone call in order to replace my 10gs)...and WHY NOT as this 'David' is supposed to be Shay's guarantor? What's with the secrecy? That just doesn't make good business sense. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I am a single mother and he has no dependents. I have all the detailed evidence documented. This is just a summery. Do not give this man your money to invest.
