This company is the worse I've ever seen. I signed up for a contract with these people and it has been nothing but trouble. I put in a claim for A/C repair in May. The contractor came out, wrote up a diagnosis and took the deductible. Never heard anything again.
Put in a second claim, contractor John Wiggington from Accutemp Heating and Air came out, made diagnosis and was going to expedite claim. Took him a week to get back to Shield Star and told them I never paid him.
Shield Star took the payment for August and when I called them to find out what was going on with the claim, I was told that my policy was cancelled as of the end of July after they took the payment and send out a contractor.
No one ever return calls nor did they send anything in writing. Everything is a guessing game with them.
