Management
After fishing all day my husband decided we should stop at Shells to get himself a beer and something for us and the kids. Total came up to $20.39 and my husband thought he said $20.35, so the guy behind the counter who claimed he was the owner gave my husband his change and my husband questioned him and said I gave you $20.35 and the owner said no it's $20.39 so get out of here it's ok. WHO DOES THIS?? who does he think he is representing? We were offended so my husband told him if he's got a problem and he says "YEAH WAT YOU GUYS NEED TO LEAVE BEFORE I CALL THE COPS" so my husband and I said go ahead and call the cops. He then said we were M***F**** that need to leave his store and my husband told him he needs to keep his mouth shut and wait for the cops and this person whome calls himself the owner of the store says "YOU NEED GET YOUR PASSPORT AND STAMP IT AND GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM"...you know what? I don't think we are EVER EVER EVER going to Shells anymore and we will let all our family and friends know about this, I will put this on Facebook, Myspace and even Better Business Bureau, he has no right to talk to customers like that especially if his paycheck are from customers. We have never in our lives been so offended by a owner of Shells especially a big company like this. Never again!

Filled up 9 gallons and I was charged for 14 gallons of gas
Just returned from a 2000 miles road vacation to Florida. I filled up with gas every 200-225 miles, and everytime I filled up about 9-9.5 gallons, except when I filled up at the Shell Station on SR 484 at the Florida Turnpike, where their pump registered 13.99 gallons. Unfortunately I found this out after I got home. This gas station must have their pumps rigged up to show that you purchased more gasoline than you should have, and of course they pocket the difference. I had driven 211 miles just before I filled up at this station, and my fill up should not have been more than 9.5 gallons. But I paid for 14 gallons. The owner or the manager should refund my money and they should land in jail for this fraud, and I am sure I am not the only one being defrauded. Avoid this station like the plague.

No service for handicap customer
It was around 8:30-9:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 and I went to purchase gas at the Shell gas station at 1308 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92507. I'm disabled, my left arm is amputated and I was having trouble at the pump. I had to release the pump a few times because my hand start to hurt. I could not lower the level that holds the pump. I noticed the handicap button and I pressed it. I got no answer and no one came out. I pressed it again and saw the guy behind the register looking down. He did not come out to help me. Do you not have that service during your operating hours? If thats so I will be purchasing my gas elsewhere.

Rude and worst employee
On the 16 december around 12.10am I stopped to buy two packs of marborol lights through the customer window outside, there is a call button, I pressed the button for service and could actually see the employee working inside, she looked at me then continued to ignore the fact that I was waiting on her service, after ringing the button 4 more times she finally came to the front she had made me wait almost 5 mins at the window, she got there and slammed a bleach bottle on the counter as if I was interrupting her work, I asked for two packs of marborol lights and she rang me up for three packs, at this time I told her I only asked for two, She argued with me and said I asked for 3packs, I said no I did not and I told her just give me two packs, she yelled at me and said no you didn’t.

I am very much upset and asked for her name she refused to give this to me, so just to let you know she was working the overnight shift from midnight until when ever on the morning of the 16 december. I have been a long time customer at this store over 20 years and I am very much upset at the way she treated me this evening. If this is the type employees you want running your store? I will not shop there anymore because of her.

bad customer service
cashier shorted me 10. left my number because I was confused at the time and thought I owed her money. no she shorted me 10 and I feel she knew it. manager still hasn't called after the girl said he would be in in the morning.

gas overflow
Dec. 29, I stopped to fill car with supreme gas ($3.59 gal).
While waiting in car, the gas overflowed and I was alerted by another driver there.
I immediately got out of car and stopped the fill up.
I went in to manager and told what had happened. He told me not a problem.
He went out and wiped the car clean and initially offered a car wash. What about
the amount of spillage? Not a problem...nothing was done on his part. Then he
told me we could not get a car wash as the gas door of car would not close, I needed
to go to get it fixed. Again I asked about the refund on gas spilled because of his
faulty machine...Not a problem he said...There was nothing done. But worse,
he did not understand that the car should be rolled away from the area to start it up.
This to me is the real concern.

Wierd scenario
So I go to this one gas bar all the time on the way to pick up my sibling from work. I go there tonite and get some gas just to hold me over til I can fill up. I go in to pay and I wanted to use to different bank cards, and the guy at the counter says no, I cant do that. So he hums and ha;s and then asks me to move aside so that he can serve other people. So I do. Then he says well do you have cash on you, and I say no I only have what I have on these cards, and hes like well I cant use two different cards. So then I say ok, Ill be back with some money. So I went to pic up my sib, then return with her debit card to pay it off and then the guy is like well can you pay 10, because someone else used your pump and ended up getting billed your gas as well, just didnt make a hell of a lot of sense, now he says I have to come back and pay what I want in gas, and an additional 7 dollars.

service
I just went to the shell gas station near my house to get gas and cash in 3 scratch off lottery tickets and ran into the worst service attendant I ever had. I put my tickets on the counter and the guy threw them back at me telling me I had to scratch off the claim numbers and before I could tell him I didnt know where the numbers were and that I didnt care about the $3.00 and to just give me the gas I wanted he called the next customer in line up to the counter and wouldnt let me finish buying the gas... he refused to help me. I'll never go to another shell station again unless I'm stranded.

DISCRIMINATORY & VERBAL ABUSE
About 7:00 a.m. on 11/22/10, I went to the Shell Gas Station located at 5314 S. Harlem Ave in Summit, the sales rep was engaged in a loud personal conversation with another employee while assisting me with my purchase. In the midst of the transaction, I noticed that she tossed my credit card on the counter oppose to placing it in my hand that was held out to retrieve my card. I expressed to the employee that she tossed my card on the counter and I would appreciate if she handed it to me as I did with her when I originally gave it to her, she began speaking in a vulgar tone and stated" I'm not picking nothing up if you want you get it", so I explained to her that her tone and behavior was not customer service friendly along with rude. I in turn began to walk away and she yelled "your ignorant", in front of the entire store. I went to my car to get a pen and pad, walked back into the store and aske for her name, she stated that it was "Christine", asked her for her last name she stated" I'm not giving you my last name", I asked the name of the manager she refused, so then I turned to her co-worker and asked for the manager's name she stated it was Matthew but says she didn't know his last name. I asked Christine the exact address of the facility and she yells "any information you want its on the door and yells out lady I have customers behind you". In essence her behavior, attitude, was both belittling, unsettling, and unacceptable. Especially after I noticed the customer(s) after me didn't receive the same treatment to which I had experienced. Their money/credit cards was placed in their hands-unlike mine. Her mannerism with customers that proceeded me was more than welcoming, to which I realized instantly that her behavior was based on racial discrimination. Her treatment towards me was not acceptable towards a paying customer in that establishment but totally disrespectful to any human being. Since that time I have contacted the facility trying to reach out to the manager to inform him of the chain of events that took place on this morning but an employee states he was not in the office, therefore this is first of many steps that I will be taking in regards to making a formal, written complaint in regards of the incident that transpired on today.

cashier threatened to call police on me for paying in change
I had 3 dollars in change and 3 dollars in cash I just needed gas to get back and forth to work to take care of my children. When I walked in she informed me she did not have to take the change I told her I would count it out to her. Then her friend walked up and she moved everything I had counted and said I could not hold up the rest of the customers which I wasnt trying to I was only trying to make sure every thing was correct. She messed up my counting and I informed her how rude she was being and she said she was going to call the police on me I told her go ahead. She called the manager of the station and he was not concerned at all. I informed him I would never come back to his store so they lost all my business for 3 dollars in change thats ashame. Maybe they will reconsider that for the next customer because I will never spend another penny at that store. There is a way to treat someone and they do not know how.
