Rude employees
The employees are lazy and rude. They will help a man behind you before they will pump gas for a women. They also
encourage the male drivers to cut off and block the female drivers at the pump. One employee won't give you gas without
writing down your license plate - even after you give him a credit card and are a local that goes there often.
Today the employee was laughing and talking about me to the young man who cut me off. I have left without getting
gas several times because of the employees rudeness. Today I cut my credit card and took it into the manager and told her I
wouldn't be back.

Unclean
My 2 daughters and grandaughter went to this station on Friday Sept 17th to use the restroom and that place stunk so bad we had to hold our breath and try not to touch anything. My oldest daughter is in a wheel chair so we didn't have time to find someplace cleaner. I told the clerk his bathroom was very unsanitary and he just looked at me with no comment. I think this place needs to be looked at and made to clean it up. It's too nasty to use.

Faulty Shut-Off Valve on Pump
On June 12, 2010, after filling our car with gasoline, the pump shut-off valve failed to work. Gallons of gasoline spilled out of the nozzle while we desperately tried to get the valve unstuck. There was gas all over the ground and the car, and gas had splashed on our clothes and shoes. The attendant at least spread an absorbent material on the ground, but never bagged the nozzle nor placed an out of order sign on the pump. We asked for a refund on our credit card for the gas that spilled because of the faulty valve. It amounted to at least a $20 overcharge. This was denied us because "it was our fault" for letting the gas spill. We insisted that the attendant let us talk to the supervisor who wasn't there at the time. The attendant tried to get the supervisor on the phone but the supervisor wouldn't answer his cell phone. Since we were traveling and needed to get on home in another state, we left frustrated by the fact that another person or persons would likely have the same thing happen to them. The pump needed to be shut down and repaired. It would have been nice to get a "sorry, " if not a refund, for the mess and danger we went through.

faulty shut off on pump
Filling up my tank tonight to be surprised by gas spilling from my car the ground because the shut off valve didn't trip on the pump (once my tank was full). I went inside to tell the attendant, but his response was of confusion because he doesn't speak English well enough to understand what I was trying to tell him. I even brought him outside to my car to have him tell me that everything was okay with the pump. Even after I showed him the pool of gasoline on the ground, he still couldn't comprehend that something was the matter and the pump needed to be bagged. Not going to Shell again: I'll drive home on an empty tank next time!

bad service and lack of experience
I towed my broken car to their shop to repair it. after checking it, they gave an estimate of $1500 to fix it and yet they told me that there's a chance of another part might be bad (cost another $1200) and they can't tell until they do the $1500 repair. they refused to buy after market parts even though I offered them to sign a release and they are not responsible for the parts. my car was old enough to spend that money on it. I asked them if they know someone will buy it as salvaged car, the manager or whoever was behind the counter offered me to buy it for $150 !! I towed back to my home, did a small search online, bought only ONE part out the three they told me, and replaced it by myself. VOILA my car is running again and worth $2500 and I spent only $50 for the part !!!

Faulty shut-off on pump
One of the pumps automatic shut-off valve is faulty, and does not shut-off when tank is full. As a result, there is major spillage and overflow. Even after the pump was pulled out of the gas tank opening, it was difficult to disengage the mechanism that keeps the valve open. As a result, a vast amount of gas spilled all over the floor and myself. This is a dangerous situation, and definitely needs to be repaired ASAP. The pump should be de-commissioned until it is repaired! The customer next to me mentioned that it happened to him a few days earlier.
My attempts to inform the gas station owner/attendant of the faulty mechanism was met with sheer arrogance and remarks that I should watch the pump (note: I was standing next to the pump, watching it when this happened). He also commented to other customers that I must have been on the phone! My phone was inside the car - I was outside watching the pump! I'm sure the store cameras would easily verify that. He didn't offer any apology, nor did he acknowledge that the pump will be repaired or at least a sign put out warning customers of the faulty mechanism.
The owner's/attendant's attitude was unacceptable - absolutely appalling! It would serve Shell not to have people like this being a representative of their company. I will NEVER be going to that gas station again until is under new ownership.

pump accurate?
I fill up my tank and realized big drop on my cars mileage from 15.7 liter per 100 km ( read from car computer) to 18.4 liter per 100 km, it is only highway and city combined driving as usual, how do we know the pump did pump out the right amount of gas?

Gas sprayed out of hose, did not return money
To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing this email in regards to this Shell location:
4317 LAWRENCEVILLE HIGHWAY
TUCKER, GA 30084-3702
770-939-1818
On Sunday, Jan, 3rd 2010 in the afternoon. I went to the Shell gas station to get air, and pump gas. I used the debit service at the pump.
When I took the pump out of its resting place and put it in my tank, gas was spraying out of the hose. My arms and clothing were soaked with gas; I tried to pump $6 in gas, but realized that more was pouring out of the hose than it was going into my car. When I looked on the ground, it was flooded with gas from previous usage. I immediately alerted the attendant. The manager was behind the counter, and sent his employee to inspect. I asked them both for my money back. Instead, he asked me to move my car and pulled his up into the hazardous area. He pumped gas into his own car, and then came and told me he couldn't give me my money back because the gas on the ground wasn't from my car. I showed him the baby wipes I used to clean up the gas from my arms and clothes, he told me there was nothing he could do and I could come inside to wash up in their bathroom. I told him I would contact Shell corporate, and that if I or anybody else was smoking then they were doomed for a tragic situation.
I am disappointed that he and his manager did nothing to solve this situation and decided to show poor customer service and negligence. I went into the Walmart across the street, and passed by about 30 minutes later and his car was still at the spot, the gas was not cleaned up, and the pump wasn't covered with the out of service sign.
Because of this I will not be a patron at this gas station again.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Employee assaulted customer
I witnessed a female shell employee and a hispanic male customer assault a white male customer. The employee yelled in the victim's face and kicked him while the other assailant held the victim down. When the police arrived, both the victim and the hispanic male had left. The employee (a large hispanic woman with dark hair) lied to the police and claimed that she did not know why anyone would have called them. She denied the assault. The other employee also lied to the police.
This was at 12:30 in the afternoon.
We travel up and down the I-25 corrider often and have always used Shell. It just isn't safe anymore. I will never go back to Shell again. I have given a witness statement to the police in Las Vegas, NM. I have also sent a letter to Shell's corporate office.
I have yet to hear anything in response.
